Recognising a member's contribution in some way. It's basic purpose is to show a member's standing on the forum, which is why "abuse" of rep is controlled.

This should be updated. When the forum gets completely fixed, the reputation hack will be back and this explanation will be out of date.

We should make another image explaining the new rep bars.
