Do you think of yourself to be a spoiled child or person? And what do you think about people being spoiled?
If you are or not, do post here and tell us all why and if you care or dont care if you are.

well, I think I'm a bit spoiled,
but not if I compare myself with my friends.
I mean, I'm doing 3 sports and guitar and drumming lessons. That's ******* expensive...
(I'm the most expensive kid at home) But I don't feel spoiled.
(I am being kicked off one sport by my father, though, but I didn't like that sport anymore anyway...)(weird sentence...)

I believe the true spoiled are people who have what they want, persuade their parents if they dont have it, and have an attitude. A pissy one.

Yeah, indeed.
I'm not such a person, I don't want that much and I don't persuade my parents to buy the things I want...
I think you're also spoiled if you don't even ask for something and you get it (I'm talking about expensive stuff)., and your parents say somethin lame like: yeah, I just like to give that to you...

Nah, I don't really consider myself spoiled. The most grandma's ever given me, unconditionally, was a 5 dollar bill. And she took that back when she accused me of attempted murder. With an egg beater. Scary..:eek13: Besides, I bought my own house! And GRANDMA'S leeching off ME. :doindadom Oh, I AM proud..

I'm defenetly not spoiled... I wish I was though XD
I used to be the apple of my Grandma's eye, but then I got older and she got forgetful, she loves me still, but I don't really go on shopping sprees with her like I used to like when I was 5-8 she used to take me everywhere and get me anything I wanted... ahhh.. I miss that ;-; I had the biggest hissy-fit when the Betsy Wetsy doll came out and she wouldn't buy it for me... but ofcourse I got it in the end, a few bouts on the floor and some banshee like screams
THEN I was spoiled, not now though

Spoiled? To me, that doesn't so much refer to how much money is spent on a child; but to whether he/she gets their own way easily after pestering their parents. I like to think I'm not too spoiled - maybe a little bit ;)

Heh... well my answer would be most-definitely no.

My entire father's side of the family is though... and my cousin (on my mother's side) is also quite spoiled. These guys like to brag about what they have, regardless of whether or not they understand how to use what they have acquired. They have so much that no gift impresses them, and furthermore, they look down upon you if you don't have as much as they do. My cousin gets to travel the world with his parents (the parents are O.K., actually). He doesn't really care though... he acts as if this is a common thing for people to do... and doesn't even care when he goes anywhere just about anyone else would classify as *special*.

I on the other hand would have nothing for myself had I not gotten a job a while back... and saved my money. Now that I no longer have the job, I've tried saving what little money I had left. Of course, my parents and siblings ended up needing that... so I have nothing left. The only reason I have anything now is because I happened to buy a bunch of CDs to put my... downloaded goods upon. My entire family won't even be able to have a Christmas (well... in the present-giving form) since my parents are getting screwed out of money by their boss (there was a mistake in their pay... they got too much; hence they have to pay it back). Of course, I can understand this situation. While I am not pleased to know that I pretty much won't be getting anything at all; I at least have some things such as my computer to obtain SOME of the things I want. I also realize that it isn't really my parents fault for this; they are at least trying as best they can to keep everything together.

If there were an "anti-spoiled", I'd probably be that. :toocool:

i definitely think i'm not spoiled.there were times when i thought my parents were being unfair but now i think there was some wisdom in how they brought me up and i'm glad they did too.
