The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron's dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye.

I know this will top the box office, as it did with the first. (I think <.<)

But without the Transformers (as Kaze had also discussed with Mizu and I), the movie would be fail. :>

Anyway, this looks good. The first Transformers was the only movie i went to see more than once at the cinema.

As always, a sequel to such a box hit is never really worth anticipating, but at least the plot to this one sounds good. With the death of Megatron in the first one, it seemed that a future Transformers may not use him, but it's good to know that they are.

I for one will be looking forward to some more awesome action.

I had hoped they would bring the Armada and the Universe characters in, like that dark god-forsaken giant transformer that was a combination of many of the small ones?
now that is worthy of a 3 minute transformation scene from Michael Bay.

Still... it is awesome, but bringing in Megatron again would be somewhat... unnecessary, give Starscream some power say yo.

If this is a possible Movie, I will view it and am assured its a symbolic movie with what we're all facing on earth now with the "global powers that be"...

It could be possible but I see a few flaws:
1. Megatron was destroyed in the first film. If he was to return, he most likely become Galvatron.
2. Starscream would be a suitable leader however whenever he led, it was always a short ruling.

* In the 80's film he led the decepticons until Galvatron disintergrated him for betraying Megatron.
* In the original series (generation 1 to the newer fans) Starscream led the decepticons for a short period until Megatron returned unexpectedly and frightened Starscream by threatening his existence.
3. If there is to be a sequel the Decepticons will have to regroup and introduce some of the classical characters of the Decepticons. Eg, Skywarp, Thundercracker and Shockwave. With the Decepticons regrouping the Autobots would need to increase their numbers as well. (maybe a good time to introduce the Dinobot or the Aerobots.) Maybe bring in Omega supreme or Skyfire.
4. With the all spark destroyed what would be the plot device to keep the film together?

You know what would be awesome? If it had Galvatron and he was voiced by Leonard Nimoy.

The movies are more of eye candy for me. I was mad at the first one for having too many humans in it

Man, I was so happy when Peter Cullen signed on... but it wasnt very Transformers to me, the first movie. I hope they remedy that in the new film. As VGcats said: You have ONE token human, and then make way for the robots!

Problem with that is when Megatron dies he'll always ressurect as Galvatron so there's a contradiction in the title. Also he is upgraded considerably during the transformation between the two. (therefore the autobots will need considerable back up) Optimus wouldn't only recognize him until he spoke. (or if he begun to slaughter human beings. (which I hope he does.)

But if the plot is just going to be about megatron's revenge on humanity and autobots then it's not gonna be a well thought out plot and there would be little or no plot device either, making the film unable to hold together well.

Still not got round to seeing the first one , doesn't look that great. Humans shouldn't be the main point in a transformers film , hope this one changes what they did in the first (from what i've heard in reviews and friends opinions, that is) less human talky talky and more transformer action.

First movie was alright but it did so well because it had the summer movie blockbuster formula.

Big explosions + Beautiful People + Giant CG Robots = Blockbuster.

And yeah... Megan Fox is going to be in this one again. It starts off with them in college.
