Natsume Takashi has the ability to see spirits, which he has long kept secret. However, once he inherits a strange book that belonged to his deceased grandmother, Reiko, he discovers the reason why spirits surround him. Containing the names of these spirits, a binding contract was formed between the spirits and the owner of the book. Now, Natsume is determined to free the spirits and dissolve the contracts. With the help of a spirit cat, his days are filled trying to return the names to these spirits.

Has anyone watched this yet? I watched the first episode and I thought it was interesting as the story seems to be different from other anime where the main character can see spirits as the main character probably has potential control over some of the spirits cos of a book he inherited from his grandmother (who seems to have created these contracts in the first place) but instead he wishes to free them. This is also produced by Brains Base who also produced Baccano! and Kurenai so I am expecting something pretty good as well.

I think this will be one of the new anime I will be following.

Its a spirit and its true form is
a dragon like spirit which was shown in the first ep. Its actually quite funny since it keeps saying its not a cat whenever the main character calls it one even though it tends to act like one

I forgot where I heard it from but somewhere it said it was gonna be 13 eps. I could be wrong so don't quote me on it since I don't even remember where I heard it from.

Anybody still watching this? So far pretty good but it feels like a bit "monster of the week" kinda thing at the moment. Hopefully they reveal the real plot soon if they have one. Anyway this is probably one of the better animes out this season.

2nd season? Cool. Hopefully they have a good story with the 2nd season. This season is mostly "monster of the week" kinda thing but the episodes are still pretty good which is why I am still watching.
