Club Bleach Mascot

Greetings and salutations. This is the Vaizard's second Divisional Project.

In this contest. Participants are to draw a mascot for our forum, Club Bleach.

Simple Rules and aim.

Rules:
- No Pornography, offensive material.
- Serious Entries Only.
- The drawing must be handmade either pen, pencil or tablet.
- Entries should relate to Club Bleach.
- Only one entry per person.
- If you wish to edit your entry you may do so.
- If you wish to take down your entry you may do so.

The entries will be judged by the Vaizards. Comments and Critiques will be given and scoring will be based from the scale of 1 to 10. Scores will be released to the public when all the Vaizards have given out their votes. When the Top 5 entries are determined, the voting will be open for the public and will help us Vaizards to determine who's entry will be the winner.

We are going to judge based on:
- Originality
- Execution
- Proportions
- Affinity.
- Colours/shading

Prizes:
Reputation from the Vaizard Members.
Club Bleach News Paper Interview and Highlight. (Top 3 Winners)
Club Bleach News Center Highlight Pending due to Maintenance.

All I can say is we will not discriminate against non-colored entries. As much as possible we want to be fair. This is why you can either make your entry as shaded or colored.

Don't know if that answered your question.

But think of this. It could be like a gfx tag but just in black and white. :)

Again, the rules are simple and clear. That it has to be drawn by either pen(ball point pens etc.), pencil or tablet. It is just pure common sense that NO Photoshop manipulation or pen tool or any kind of Photoshop tools etc. you may use.

Also, asking would have sufficed before you submitted an invalid entry or at least you could have read thoroughly with the rules.

Renren: RedPanda - 9 points
I love the fact that the mascot would hide in banners, and avatars. I think that is an idea that no one else reached. Plus, it's just really cute. He supports jake too. XD jk. The idea was great, and well executed.

Milan: CB Monkey - 7 points
Super cute superhero monkey. I just wish there was a little bit more variety. Like, what will he do? Anything?

Sub.Shinigami: The Butterfly Shinigami - 6 points
Really well drawn. I sure as heck couldn't do that :x

Gowansweetpea: Club Bleach Dog - 5 points
Another well drawn item. I just don't see the dog being the mascot. :|

Sub.Shinigami: Nice drawing, but... not what I had in mind for a mascot. Like it should be something that isn't a human... 6.5/10 for effort and skills
PS. If he drew a Panther, he'd probably get a higher score. xD

Milan: Interesting, but would have been better to extend a little bit, like showing us what his superbness do. 7/10 for getting the concept right

Renren: The stalker panda (I swear it looks like a fox, lol) is creative and imaginative. She did what Milan didn't do, basically. 8.5/10 for creativity and lol

Gowan: Nice drawing... but doesn't click for me. 5.5/10 for effort

Sub.Shinigami: 7. Nice overall, but lacks originality.

A custom Shinigami is a nice idea, but it's not very original. Excellent overall artwork, makes me jealous that I can't draw for ****. Could work out very well if someone redrew the character to looking like it came from the manga or anime

Milan: 5. Original, but not exactly a symbol or character I'd see/want to see representive of CB.

It's definitely an original idea, but a monkey, or a superhero wrestling monkey doesn't fit. Not a lot of effort really went into it.

RenRen: 8. My personal fave.

A red panda doesn't exactly fit with Bleach, but RenRen went out of his/her way to just show how original, and unique the character is, plus showed us how easy of a mascot the character can be by having it placed in weird and random places, like the banner or staff avatars. That showed a lot of creativity and only really loses points because it doesn't fit with Bleach and the normal version seems plain (unlike the ninja version).

Gowansweetpea: 6. Could have worked as well as Red Panda, but lacked effort.

A dog isn't exactly bleach, but it was drawn really well. I think that if more effort had been put into, the dog could have been made to appear in avatars and banners as well but despite looking good, it just doesn't cut it.

Sub.Shinigami - 6/10
Really good drawing; nice job on the details and everything. But I am not sure if I would want CB's mascot to be a human.

Milan - 5/10
Really cute monkey. I know Naru would love that. XD I agree with Kray and Kenta about explaining what he would do though.

RenRen - 8/10
I love this. It's really original and creative. Good job ~

Gowansweetpea - 5/10
Another pretty good drawing but I feel the same about as I did with SS's drawing. I don't think CB should have a dog as it's mascot.

I really love your drawing, I think he'll make an excellent Shinigami in Bleach,but since it is a mascot we're searching for I think you should add a little more humor to it, that's just my personal opinion because when I think "Mascot" I think of something comical and silly. maybe you should have given him a bleached thong with a clown nose or something XD

Gowansweetpea- 6.5

I really like your dog, but my opinion on it is the same as Sub.Shinigami's. My ideal mascot looks silly and funny and stuff, but then again it's my personal opinion. He's a cute doggy though ^_^ and you draw sooo good .

Sub.Shinigami: 6/10: I like the drawing but if it doesn't seem to fit CB. It's more of just a character for Bleach imo. :/

Milan: 8/10: Nice drawing, good idea, but like the others said, he could have shown us what CB monkey could do.

RenRen: 9/10: Nicely touch with showing us what Red Panda can do and putting it in the CB setting. It's something no else did.
Gowansweetpea: 6/10: Like with SS, great drawing, but doesn't really capture the feel of CB.

Sub Shinigami: 6/10 Nice shading, concept and the character design looks awesome. However, there could have been more stuff to emphasize your Shinigami other than just drawing its face and body and etc. Other than that, it is a very good drawing.

Milan: 7/10 Nice coloring and drawing. I must say, the design is very cute and you have made efforts to involve your drawing into CB.

RenRen: 8/10 Very nice outlines and details for the red panda and you even gave a good presentation of it. Good Job.

Gowansweetpea: 5/10 Nicely done, I like the coloring and the expression but the affinity of it to CB is really low.


SubShin-7/10 nice idea more like an RP character

Milan- 8/10 again clever little mascot buuut it doesnt feel CB-y to me.....I associate monkeys with Milan but not with CB. So the idea is there...

RenRen- 9/10 loved it, now that is CB, I know LOLWHUT?! but the idea of it all the having the mascot everywhere and anywhere on CB, its a good idea and executed very well. *This message was approved by Kray and Jake lol*

Gowan- 6/10 good effort on the drawing of the dog....let's stick a hat on it and recycle it into the CB mascot. That's what it feels like tbh, dont associate this with CB at all. Nice drawing but sticking a hat on a dog doesnt really make a mascot....

I like the drawing, very suitable for Bleach.
My problems with it are, one, it doesn't show me how it represent Club Bleach, a more in depth description would have been nice as well, two, it seem like a Bleach extra character, again, not influencing or connecting with the idea of CB mascot for me. Nice name for the character though.

It's very cute. Is he supposed to be the hero that rescue us from CB's daily errors and lagging? lol.
It looks too simple though. I felt like it needed more personality to it's outfit and character to relate more to CB.

The different perspectives and versions you showcased your mascot was very interesting, it had me hooked, I must say it was successful and it accomplished what you intended it to do.
It was nicely drawn, it has a comedic element to it, which suits the current CB.

Gowansweetpea
It looks like you took time and drew/colored it with crayons.
Very nice effort. However, it's like the hat is the only thing affiliated with CB, not the dog.

Sub.Shinigami: 8/10 The full body and the head of the middle left look a bit forced and unnatural. The other two heads are excellent.
Nice shading. Too bad you sticked to a shinigami. Crazy new ideas were also welcomed

Milan: 6/10 Very original. The design is too simplistic for my taste and I quite don't understand how a monkey is linked to CB. Domo or a llama would have been better choices IMO.

RenRen: 8/10 I like them a lot. The colouring is good and the clean lines give them a very interesting look. The foxes are a very good choice since we have a lot of those smilies to use in our posts. Just that... well, the foxes are available for every forum... not really something you just find in CB.

Gohansweetpea: 6.5/10 Nice drawing and colouring. The proportions are a bit off and the fact it's just a dog makes it very boring. I like the different tones of the fur.
