The story is set in present day Tokyo, but one that's a little different from ours. There, people called Mahoushi or Mage Labour, live. They have magical abilities and are licensed by the Bureau of Magic. In order to become Mage Labor, 16-year-old boys and girls gather in Tokyo for training. This story revolves around Suzuki Sora, a 16-year-old girl who had come from Biei, Hokkaido, to become a Mage Labor, five other trainees including Midorikawa Gota, and the instructors.

was wondering if anybody is watching or following it?
i'm just about to try out episode one.
according to RandomC (http://randomc.animeblogger.net/2008/07/11/mahou-tsukai-ni-taisetsu-na-koto-natsu-no-sora-02/), this is a more peaceful and uneventful anime...
but the really rl-looking bg animation attracted me so~

the first episode was really, really boring. the 3rd one was kind of interesting though so maybe I'll keep watching

I like it, it's got that slice of life thing merged with magic and fantasy. I've only watched till ep 2 and will prolly continue watching it :3

There's no point waiting for someone's opinions because it really depends on you whether you'll like the anime or not. Everyone's tastes varies. For example, I'm not a fan of slice of life genres but this anime's pretty interesting to me.

I'd suggest checking at least first 3 eps of something to find out if you'd want to continue watching a series

I'm not a big fan of slice of life stuff either. That's probably why the 1st ep bored me so much. But then again, 1st episodes are rarely good.

i only managed to watch the first and i love the art and graphics... it's really nice!
but yeah... the storyline is quite boring XD

I typically try and wait until the first season airs before I watch an anime. Taking 5 weeks watching the first 5 eps to decide whether I like an anime or not is too time consuming, I would rather decide in a night whether to continue or not. I just want to see what people think of it before I continue, im on a limited time schedule and dont really feel like watching crap if I dont have to.

I watch it on crunchy roll as well and yep it's been out long time ago. They've got ep 7 there too.
