don't they look similar (in every aspect)
they both have grey eyes orange hair and *coughbigboobscough*
maybe mastumoto is like inoue's mother or long lost sister or somthing

Matsumoto is like 200 years older than Inoue...and she isnt an annoying airbag like her :)
I never noticed any resemblence except big boobs and that they are both girls :D

no ... the are not related ... they doesnīt even look similar O.o (Orihime: brown eyes, brown hair, Rangiku: blue eyes, blond hair). She could be something like an "older sister" for Orihime because has more life experience than her and both have similar problems.

Rangiku (maybe) felt in love with Gin who betray the SS and she donīt know why. Maybe she wants to help Gin out (because she things that he has problems which force him to do such things) but she donīt know how to help him.

Orihime wants to help the person she loves but her abilities are not enough or she is to shy to talk with him about his problems.

In others words both wants to help the person they love (or like) but they donīt know how to do this.

as far as similarity goes...its only the boobs and it ends there.....to say that inoue is like matsumoto in almost every aspect is an insult to matsumoto~

i've just checked and asukasun is right, they have different hair colour and different eye colour~~, so yeah its only the boobs thats similar~

Well that's just fine and all but i'm going off of the pics right there I just put up. In that case we're both right. Apparently Kubo Tite's original plan wasn't colored correctly in the anime, but still, that's just one picture from the manga. I'm gonna go with the majority of the pictures that come from the anime.

Ok, someones been looking way too closely. Bear in mind the fact that Orihime is only *ahem* 15 and she's got plenty of time to grow. Still they're not really similar at all physically, they have more of a mentor type relationship

Apparently Kubo Tite's original plan wasn't colored correctly in the anime, but still, that's just one picture from the manga. I'm gonna go with the majority of the pictures that come from the anime.

yeah the anime colored them not like the manga .. but even if that is only one picture .... that are Kubos thoughs about the characters and I doubt that in his story orihime and rangiku will be related (because in the manga they donīt have a similar look). And why should the anime gave them an other story? Until now the Anime had nearly the entire Manga story :winking56.

Sure, they may have resemblances but I don't think that there're any relations between them .. especially "mother and daughter" .. remember that MAtsumoto was early found and saved by Ichimaru Gin

I did. But... chouji-san, I don't think that Youroichi would slap you (or me, for that matter) if you stare at her. She was naked in frong of Ichigo after all. Matsumoto, well, she has that continious "erotic-girl" thingy about her. eiChi-san, it's hard to tell if Isane's are as big as Youroichi's, you need to see the profile for it (and theire measurments... I wouldn't post it past Ishida to make a custom made bra for Inoue/Matsumoto. He's much better at making girls clothing... heheheheee
