I do think Urahara is powerful as well, but everyone simply regards only to the upper 3 of SS as "The Big 3". Thats the only reason I didn't add anyone else.

Your in. *sigh*. I honestly can't wait to get more of a backstory of these guys, or better yet see any abilities. We all know Yama is arguably the most powerful character in bleach, but I'm extremely curious about what Ukitake and Shunsui can do.

Urahara was the only one who showed the ability to straight up kill an espada with just Shikai. All other capts had to go Bankai. :D

Yea, but its very likely Urahara is more powerful than the captains we've seen take an espada so far. He's great. Although I don't see Shunsui or Ukitake, going bankai to drop any of the espada, we've seen so far either(although Ulqiorra might pose a slight problem, or not.). No need to mention Yamamoto.

Anyways... i dunno i think i'll be going since this is Urahara free ;_;

Because as a team i don't see anyone taking on two capts without being overpowered... except maybe Yama himself but who's to say that when they go Bankai they can't overpower him on a two on one?

This is up in the air, but he states their power were above anyone elses, even "before" he mentioned anything about them being "unbeatable" as a team. That could indeed just be another compliment. Also take note. I find it highly unlikely that two mere "average" captains combined, would be regarded by the commander as unbeatable.

That could even further imply they are great individually, not considering the fact Yamamoto personally instructed both of them himself. So I definately doubt they're shabby when it comes to 1on1 combat.

Although their powers are still unknown we simply have hints:

Shunsui:
-Can send Chad flying a mile with the tip of his finger while sipping tea. Yea we know its only chad, but its slightly impressive.

Ukitake:
While Byakuya was beginning to release, Ukitake simply walked up too him and grabbed his arm stopping him from releasing. Byakuya said nothing. Now we all know how Byakuya is. He's extremely arrogant. Do you honestly think he'd let someone "equal" to him, let alone "weaker" than him, take such an act, without saying anything? I doubt it very much. Whether this be out of power, or simply seniority, who knows.

Because as a team i don't see anyone taking on two capts without being overpowered... except maybe Yama himself but who's to say that when they go Bankai they can't overpower him on a two on one?

So with that said, there's still a chance Yama could actually hang with them for a bit in only shikai, while this time taking damage, until he were forced to go bankai himself.

In which(I'm sorry because Shunsui is my favorite character), they'd get easily raped.

haha, yeah but at best he was 3rd seat level and worn out so it is impressive but i doubt he'd be able to do that now that Chad has sonido and is Captain level in power... or at least very high VC

Well maybe. But seemingly so, it was as if Byakuya knew he could take her. The way he seemed confident as if he's surpassed Yoruichi. This wasn't the case with Uki. :)
