I played this game until 4 am to beat it. haha.

My strategy:
used a parasite
sold all symptoms
wait and upgrade all resistances to lvl 2, drug lvl 4
upgrade the transmissions
wait for all countries to get infected slowly, hoping you also get madagascar.
start the killin'!!!

Got all the countries except Greenland and Argentina. Didn't waited for the game to finish though, was taking too long

My word, Madagascar is difficult to get to. I finally got everyone infected while at my cousin's house, but had to leave before I got to watch all of humanity die.

Pity.

OH MY ****, I was doing really well until my ****ing mouse slipped and hit an ad. Urghhhh.

Anyway, this game's really awesome.

My strategy goes like this:

1. Pick virus
2. Restart until I have a starting location with 2 ports, such as Russia or the USA
3. Get level 1 Moisture and Heat resistance, as well as coughing, fever and sweating.
4. Wait for everything to become infected, restart if something closes all entrances or it goes past day 25ish without everything infected
5. Purchase several level 2 and 3 symptons and level 2 heat and moisture resistance as well as level 1 cold.
6. Win.

If you have a disease that kills with no symptoms and can't be cured everyone flips out, so I get coughing to spread it, and fever/sweating to make it obvious. Drug resistance is at 0 so nobody really flips out. As soon as all areas are infected with 1 or more people its only a matter of killing quickly, so I get all kinds of symptoms. Sometime during or after it starts spreading all over they will start on the vaccine, when this happens get drug resistance level 3 or 4 to reduce the chance of it working, and moisture level 2 and waterborne to shut down hospitals fast.

I was lucky enough to start in Madagascar on my first try. Unfortunately, I got pwn'd by a vaccine, since it was my first try.

Madagascar is a bad starting position, it will spread to one or two areas once youve spent a good 10-15 days building it up in Madagascar, then it will need another 10-15 from there to start spreading more. By this point Madagascar will be completely infected and everyone will have flipped out and closed their borders.

Well, as long as I can keep a low profile and get spread to a country with airports and shipyards, then I won't have to worry. Besides, it's much harder to infect Madagascar than it is to spread from it.

EDIT: Oh man, I just created a virus called Communism and got Russia as my starting point!

A ship leaves Madagascar like once every 20 days, if you are going for a good time and complete extinction Madagascar won't cut it as a start point.

OOoo. I played this game on kongragate. I keep having trouble with Madagascar.

here's my strat for killing off the human race in less than 100 days.

1 Pick Virus
2 Start in Canada, Greenland, New Zealand, or Cuba (if not, restart)
3 Sell starting symptoms (if any), other than sneezing. If you don’t have sneezing, buy it
4 Buy 1-1-1-0 Resistances
5 Once your disease spreads to a few countries, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility
6 Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes or this is after day 30, restart
7 Pump 4 Drug Resistance and buy sneezing, coughing, vomiting
8 After a few days, unlock tier 2-3 keeping whatever symptoms it gives you
9 Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, hypersensitivity, hemorrhaging
10 Wait until everyone dies

But then you need to wait a good 15 days before it will spread from that territory. As was said above, if you want everything to die everything needs to be infected by day 30.
