After Mizu's thread (http://forums.bleachportal.net/showthread.php?t=62469), and general general displeasure I've decided to write something regarding the vertical avatars situation...

The Vaizards and Espada usergroup lost the 150x250 limit, even though we won it as an admin favour in contest #53:

From what I understand our privileges are removed because the donors are sad because they don't feel as special, or some ****. That's what I've gathered, anyway.

Right, in conclusion, we won the 150x250 limit fair and square, and now it's removed... Just like that. If I got it right it's because an extremely stupid reason, as well, which is the worst thing about it all. I don't care about the avatar limit, hence I removed my 150x250 avatar to display this.

I'll wait for further information about this before I b*tch more.

The closure is not a sign of shutting you up.

It's so only the admin lounge representatives (smods/admins) can answer you, because that's where it's being discussed. Of course when a decision is reached we'll reopen the thread so you can reply, if need be. Otherwise there's always PM.

The VE are no longer in the top three, so they can have their privileges removed at any time.

This was the reasoning by the admins.

Contest 53 where the VE won their Vert Avas was posted in September of 2007 and ended in October 2007. The Divisional Ladder Project was Reset and Restarted in May 2008. It's only fair that past rewards are no longer valid.

Anymore questions on this matter should be directed at C46 or C46 admins, since it is in regard to the Bleach Project.
