What does everybody think of a new Star Trek movie? Honestly I have never been that much into Star Trek (more of a Star Wars fan for some reason; plz no debate which is better lol). The few Star Trek movies I have seen are Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek: Nemesis.

I am surprised that Simon Pegg is in this movie as he is mostly in comedies. Also surprised about Eric Bana.

This will suck. JJ Abrams and 150 million dollars does not automatically make a good movie. Plus, they are essentially doing a rewrite on history and people hated Enterprise doing that. On top of that, Abrams is essentially just living the childhood fantasy of doing something with the original cast members.

That said, Abrams seems to have given some new credibility to Star Trek by bringing in fresh blood, lots of well known actors and actresses who you'd never expect to do Star Trek. Plus he seems to have been able to put his success to good use in actually getting a budget worthy of a Star Trek movie, the budgets weren't all that great on the last movies.

I mix feels about this new star trek and hope the film lives up to whole star trek sage. Hopefully, the film will put life back into sage maybe bring us whole new series from the novels.

ok i never liked star trek in the first place it just isnt out there.i cant bear myself to watch the movie thats just going to be a waste of good television space if they want to bring back a good sci-flick they might as well bring back xena-warrior princess, but star trek .i mean come on
