Anime-newbie right here.

Hey peeps, I'm Rath and I'm a bit of an anime newbie. I've seen a few movies, checked out the odd series or two, and now I've hit Bleach. And it rocks =D Much better than that last series my cuz told me about...Love Hula or something? Bleh, never again.

I'm looking forward to posting with you all...here's to plenty more Bleach in the near future.

PS: Do you guys know any other really good anime like Bleach? The ones with really well put-together stories and you can't help but get hooked on? Much appreciated.

As for the Anime - There a plenty of good animes

Animes you should check out :

Mai Hime

Mai Otome (after ending Mai Hime)

Elfen Lied (LOTS of blood)

And the anime most people think are pretty close to Bleach (until they started making filler episodes >.< Really sucks) Naruto

The Anime long from suck - The Battle scenes are amazing ... BUT. Lately they started making soooo many DUMB fillers that goes totally off from the manga to prevent it to catch up to the manga... which I think is totally dumb >.<

Yeah, have fun here Rath! I Just started Bleach myself too; awesome! Naruto is a good one, so is Escaflowne. I've only seen Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin movie) but that was good too. Fruits Basket was good too, and Chobits (That's basically the extent of what I've seen besides FLCL, and that was just weird)

Yeah, Ruroni Kenshin IS good. I like the Oniwabanshu and Shisho arc...
Saitoh, Cho, Kenshin and Sanosuke rock...

and the Slayers series, those are REALLY funny...

Slayers was probable the 4th anime I watched when I was first starting, first 3 were Sailor Moon, Sonic, and Akazukin Chacha
