i'm back, and i'm sad

well my home dsl is back, i'm delighted!!!

but i am sad. i never announced it on here, but while we were in idaho visting family (where my brother in law put 1-40 on dvd for me, so i didn't have to wait til christmas for my hubby to buy it) our girl kitty had kittens. we named them renji and taichou.

i am sad because renji has passed away :'( at 4 weeks old. we think our 2yo (carol) broke his neck. prolly while i was trying to chase her away from the kittens. i am heartbroken. he was a sweet adventurous little kitten. he played with us and ran from his mom at everychance just to socialize and explore.

but we still have taichou, and i'm determined to make him be lovey. imagine making kuchiki byakya ,spelling?, lovey. taichou is about as lovey as him. i've got my work cut out for me.

:'( taichou, renji's brother, has passed away. we don't knwo why but his mother stopped feeding him. i noticed he was lethargic but he wouldn't accpet anything i tried to give him. i am now really frickin upset. no kittens. none. 2 graves. why?

Hey, I'm sorry to hear about your kittens. At least they passed on knowing that there was someone that really cared for them. If I was one of those kittens, I would be a happy spirit.

I hope this doesn't sound heartless, but you can always get more kittens, also, its better that you didn't become so attached to them and they still died young, as opposed to them just dying now. Anyway, good for you on your DSL coming back, really though I'd just get new kittens >>;

I had the same exact situation except they were two puppies instead of kittens. Both puppies had died an early death due to some sickness at birth that we tried to control but after about 1 week, they died. We tried so hard to take care of them but nothing we did helped...

The other puppies you say? They died prebirth, inside the mother dog. We had to perform surgery on the mother dog, which was our dog so we had no puppies that were able to prospher and grow into full grown dogs. It was a really sad week. The mother dog almost died because she got really sick but luckily she pulled through.

how sad...it's always terrible to lose a tiny life. perhaps the mother cat had some disease that she passed along to her kittens. you should get her checked out by a vet...and then fixed. there are plenty of kittens at the humane society that need homes.

You can buy bottles and milk designed for pets and feed it yourself, i did it for my puppie because her mum wasnt feeding her ^

thank you everyone. we will be getting togepi fixed ASAP. we never intended for her to breed, just kinda got lazy with calling the vet. both mom and dad kitty are relatively healthy, just very young, both are barly over 1 yo. they are also siblings (ewwe) a friend tho has a kitty she is trying to give away, and is older than a kitten so i think we will pick her up. we need to find a new home for our boy kittyt ho cause he's not very well behaved.

i miss the kittens a lot. they were very sweet. i can't help but think of all the ways i could have prevented these deaths if i had just intervened.
