On the contrary animalistic - I think there are a lot of people who will favour this FC for the very reasons Kazien has set it up.

It may not become popular as quickly as the Hitsugaya FC did for it's posotive reasons, but I think eventually it could very well rival us. ^_^

I kinda know you will get your members - not that like it...but it's not my FC to like or dislike.

You already know why Hitsu bugs us, and I can at least figure out why people like him, so I see no reason for all the drama over Kaizens new club. Anyways, there's no need to wish you luck back, so congratulations on your nearly 200 members. Take care, and try not to get mauled by Hitsu-groupies for not flaming us outright ^_^.

Now, for everyone, I joined this FC not because I hate Hitsugaya outright, but only because he has gained so much fame despite everything about him being just so unoriginal. I mean, an ice-dragon? Never seen one of those before <_>. Spiky white hair and blue eyes to go with his cold element? It's obvious that he's popular because he appeals to the fantasy of 13 year olds so completely, but that is quite blatantly his only reason for being. Hitsugaya is bland, and It's driving me crazy that everyone worships him despite that dryness.

let me just tell you i have NEVER seen or played final fantasy, the only characters i know from there is cloud and and tifa :D . anywayz ofcourse everyone has the right to hate anyone, but im just sayin that therez not much to hate ABOUT hitsu, him being overated is not a reason to hate him but to hate his fans. i know that dragons are overused in anime, ive seen them in a lot of anime and i still find them cool especially hitsuz ice dragon

Well said - I disagreed with something you said on the previous page and held my tongue for the very reason you have just stated.

There is possibly one good thing about this for you though...you may gain popularity through people constantly keeping this FC afloat by Hitsy fans wandering in to check it out. =)

Unless there's anything that seriously requires a response this will be my last intrusion on your FC. If things go awry for one reason or another - people begin causing problems in here (which I highly doubt, but there's always going to be a possibility) then please don't hesitate to PM either myself, or go directly to Sandal Hat or DragonBlade.

I agree with Pazuzumaki, I mainly dislike him just because he is an overused character type, and not only that, but he is like many combined into one. Also animalistic, aside from Final Fantasy, I think Pazuzumaki meant (and even if he didn' I do) that its just a 'fantasy' image made to be popular among 13 year olds, sort of like how Matsumoto is designed to look 'good'. An ice dragon already makes Hitsugaya cheesy enough, while he redeem some with his bankai which is a little more original, his other aspects still are not good. A boy genius who helps everyone out with a superior seriousness. Most overrated and overused cliché ever. This, and the ice dragon, and his general personality, has made him an obvious 'character made to get fanboys' he's now even been made a main character (well at least he went to the human world) probably to seem cooler, and people like me who seem him as such an overused model he's nothing can't help but dislike it and him.

Hey, Kazien, don't direct any ill will towards A2k for what his members do. All he's done in this thread is act cordially toward this FC, even exenting the show of respect into his own FC. So, if anyone comes in here saying "ZOMG! Hitsu greater than j00!! You dumb for no likey him!" remember that A2k is just one person, and there is no way he can even pretend to keep nearly 200 individuals in check.

Oh, and you hit the nail on the head with the fantasy thing, Hansy. (I was confused for the longest time when he brought up 'final fantasy' seemingly out of nowhere.) A kid, with amazing power, calm intelligence, an ice dragon, and a hot vice-captain. All things Shonen will automatically find appealing, simply because they all have already been established as cool stereotypes among the Shonen populace. Wow, Kubo really is a master of marketting, the guy's a bloody genious.

Um, No, he's not, as for captains, he's probably the weakest, besides, Ichigo is the strongest, and I'd probably like Hitsugaya even less if Ichigo wasn't around, because Ichigo is super-strong for being a main character, Hitsugaya however is an overused cliché. and what do you mean 'jealous' you can't be jealous of an anime character, every shinigami is stronger than humans so jealous is a bad word to use. He's not young yet so powerfull in a cool way either, we never hear how he's such a genius, he's just there, in all of his 'coolness' as I hear most of his fans say. There's no reason for him to be a genius or logical explanation for it other than just most anime has a young, superpowerfull cliché kid, and he's a pretty badly done one so I don't like him.

There has already been multiple examples of why we don't like Hitsugaya, so stop asking us to repeat ourselves, if you guys are so keen on harrasing us come out like a man and tell why you like the guy so much, and btw if you post here your not really in the safety of the Hitsugaya fc but w/e.

Oh, and about the 190 post thing, of course you guys have so many members, i've said like 50 times in my debates that Hitsugaya is designed to be cool. If you just look at an episode with him in it your like 'OMG day guy is teh roXXorz <3!!!' but if you actually look into his moves, personality, ect. You'll find it shallow and cheesy and not worth rememberance in the hall of the young geniuses that every anime has. However, most people just look at the shallow covering, such as his calm and cool attitude, an ice dragon as a zanpaku-to, and his genius, at first glance, whats not to like about him? Nothing, I guess I just look into characters more and thats why any spell he would have over me has been torn assunder *dramatic thespian sigh*

Hey, nice to see you're joining this FC as well, Cailous, though it isn't really a surprise because almost every pro Mayuri member is an anti-hitsu member, and vice versa for our rivals. *shrug* Don't ask me why, it's just the way of the world. If I had to make a guess, though, I would say it's because our two groups look for the opposite things in a character. They look for superficial cool, we look at depth and originality.

Hmmm... interesting.

Hitsugaya isn't someone I outwardly hate (but I do intend to join this fanclub, more on that a bit later). While I am well aware of the stereotype that's being used in his character, it, like many stereotypes, can be rather fun at times.

That being said, he's terribly overrated. The amount of spam from the Hitsugaya fanclub in this thread is proof of that. As with, say, Sephiroth, the fact that people are so utterly blind and fanboy/girlish over the character ruins any appeal they might have once held. They aren't great characters to begin with, and the fact that they become overhyped despite their continued lack of any real concrete appeal makes them unbearable.

Hitsugaya is kind of fun. His interactions with Matsumoto can be amusing, as can his interactions with Hinamori. His character design is much overused, and I do enjoy the fact that for all his bluster he can still be brought down. That's not too terribly common with that kind of a character.

But again, he's a cliche. An old and overused one. He does NOT deserve the amount of praise he gets (the fact that he skyrocketed to second place in the polls saddens me greatly). He's just not that original, nor is he that cool. He has a bit of depth to him (as evidenced with the prior interactions with the characters), but he's still, for the most part, a cliche. I really wish they'd spend more time on developing his relationship with Hinamori, there's great potential for decent character development there.

But alas, that's probably not going to happen.

In any event, I would be willing to join this club, if you all don't mind.

I should check out that Mayuri one people mentioned too.

First of all, Hitsugaya needs a serious hair cut, because that due is so overused it kills me. Second, he needs a history, because he needs a reason to be liked other than looking cool. Third, he needs a personality other than "I'm a cool prodigal genious and cold about it, just like all other kid geniouses". Some quirks of any kind would be nice. Forth, his weapon needs to be something less cliche than a damn dragon, and especially one of Ice (tied with fire for most popular element)! Fifth, he needs to stop playing off of every shounen's fantasy of being powerful, popular, and having a super hot subordinant.
You know what, forget it. I could go one forever and the fact remains that I dislike everything about the little bastard.
