The title of this series is called "Bleach".. but does that actually have anything to do with the series?

There are two main theories. Neither is official.

1) Ichigos hair sort of resembles the disaster that often happens when japanese people try to dye their hair bleached blonde.

2) Shinigami purify hollows. They effectively bleach them of their sins, leaving their soul as it were before they became a hollow.

Take your pick. I believe the first.

Yes that is Ichigos natural hair. However my point never said anything about him dyeing his hair. I said that when japanese people try to dye their hair bleached blonde it often comes out like that. Bright orange. Sorry to cause any confusion there.

agreed with that first one about the hair thing, there better not be no hidden meaning behind it that kubos keeping from us until the last minute but im sure thats not the case

Personally I like the second theory better, but both explain it quite well. There hasn't been any official explanation from Kubo, huh?
