The Grudge. I was watching it with these girls, they were all scared which, for me, made the movie funnier than it was. Ha ha.
Man: Yuko... Yuko!... Yuko!
[Yuko turns around to reveal she has no jaw, just a massive tongue].
Girls I was with: ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Me: AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA, AGAIN!! DO IT AGAIN!!
But they turned it off. =( They kept turning it off and then near that part they switched it off. Ahh, but it was a blast.

That part was hilarious. ^_^ I kept rewinding it, and my brother was nearly crying for me to stop. Has anyone seen Lacaday? That movie almost made me cry, I was so scared. Here's one of my favorite parts-
BOB- Oh Jen i love you like the wind that blows at night when the owls go "kooo" and your eyes lite up liek a christmas tree beneath the sorrowful rain of change and abohorration. Oh jen i luv u.
JEN- oh bob you r so manly and strong i want to fall into your muscular hairy man-arms and fel save and secure away from the grimy muds of evil and it's counterpart the gnorr. oh bob we can ly her forevvah and not chaAAAAAnnnGGeee the leaves will be out totally comfy blanket make love to meh BOBBIE
...And then I turned it off. I was bed-ridden with depression for weeks afterwards.

Saw hands down, It totally kept me on the edge of my seat.
I would have to say the movie Saw.
It was truly scary, i mean the suspense and feeling of fear as they reveal the plot. And then that opening part where the female must dig into the stomach of the fellow to get the key, it was sick and really scary. Makes you think, how extreme would you go to keep yourself alive.

I haven't watched Saw, for the fact that I've heard of real stuff like that. People who torture to make others realise how precious life is. Crap way of doing so, if someone did that to me, I'd want to die after what I had been through. They'd do nothing but make me want to die, fools. Hope they rot.
MOVING,
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe made me cry with laughter. =) Ahh, a combination of things that I laughed about even ten minutes after it had past.
Darkness Falls made me laugh, also. Ahhh...
[Made up script of how I remember this one scene going].
Man: Now, I'm-a just step out of this car, despite that CRAZY guy's warnings. Har har har, scared of the dark! What a wuss! [The trees make sounds as if someone's there]. What the- [SWOOP] ARGHHHH!! HELP!! [Swoooooping in the woods - stratch, stratch].
[Dead-dead-dead]
Other man: Oh no! Look at those scratches on his face, dang it. Lost him, oh crap, me light no work. [Driiiiive].
Fun. Though.. that thing in the dark was weird, I didn't get why she was a tooth fairy, apart from one bit, but.. she didn't exactly collect teeth.

My cousin and I have this habit of renting horror/suspense movies, getting scared while watching it, then laughing it off afterwards. We want ourselves to get really scared so we can laugh at each other after.
So far, we've watched The Grudge, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the old Amityville, some other horror movies, and we're planning to watch Amityville the new one.
With the Grduge though, it's freaky because our neighbor's son looks so much like the kid in the movie. Same hairstyle and all.

Aww.
I was brought up watching horror movies, so I guess I don't scare too easily that way.
THOUGH! When I was in infants school, so about 4 - 6 years old, I watched.. Village of the Damned. HELL, THAT WAS HORRIBLE. SCARY BLONDE HAIRED BLUE EYED FREAKY KIDS KILLING PEOPLE GOSH KNOWS WHY!! Ahh, how evil they were. It was kind of funny, but.. one of them looked like my mate, so I was all, "She could switch on me at any moment, evil blonde blue girl!". Ah, if I watched it again, I'm sure I wouldn't be scared at all. But I was young.
And this other movie, with Julia Roberts, I was about.. five when I watched that and she was locked under the stairs (as a kid) with a rat attacking her and such. Also, children being used as blood money and it just wasn't a nice movie.. a man standing on a girl with blood coming from the area he's standing on her from.
Only movies to scare me. I didn't properly freak out, but.. I was worried.

since the age of 10 i havnt been scared of a horror movie to date, but I have been deeply distrubed by some ads on tv and other lame excuses for movies because my head would probly explode if i ever watched those movies again.

never have been scared much by the movies. or atlest i cant remember it. most likely id just be abit edgy after the movie and always keep an eye on my surroundings or have a nightmare afterwards where i am involved in an movie. now, u would think its fun, but its not so fun anymore when u got no weapon with unlimited zombies charging at u wanting to eat you alive.

Honestly, the only time I ever get scared watching a movie is when im watching it with my girlfriend, who is utterly fearful of damn near every horror movie we've ever seen. I only get scared, because I fear for a scary part that will make her either scream or tear up. If she wasn't there, I wouldn't be afraid at all.
However watching scary movies with her does make it more interesting, so I don't regret that at all :D

and
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
To this day, I cannot watch those two movies. Amityville didn't scare me as much as Exorcist did. But that movie is 3rd. Amityville horror....-_-

But "The Ring" is the scariest movie I've seen.

not a big fan of "The Grudge" either but the beginning scare sequence admittedly caught me by surprise.
but yeah hands down The Exorcist. but looking past the hardcore visual presentation of the movie, it was just the mere fact that the movie was based off of an actual event (well except for the 360 degree head-turning part lol).

now that you mention it i haven't seen the japanese one. the fact i didn't like the grudge was based off of the fact that i watched the americanized version. maybe i should check out the japanese one.

The only movie that makes me scared is Eli Roth's film 'Hostel"
It's not about ghosts but its about a group of bounty hunters hunting americans, and torturing them...
Hmmm.....the scariest film for me was probably Hollow Man as I watched half of it when I was 10 and then kept having nightmares about invisible people killing me! ^__^ The worst thing was, that I never finished it. he might still be out there!
Also the DVD menu for Thirteen Ghosts scared me! I only watched like 15 mins of it before I turned it off! It was in the daytime as well! I'm just a wimp! =D
