Quincy with Hollow powers is I believe to be completly impossible since the Quincy Powers are use to KILL hollows not wash away sins of the after life personally I think that a Quincy has more of a chance to gain Shinigami instead of hollow although how that would work I dunno

@zack and nick - i think you two should probably try reading the manga. i mean, its not really like reading a book. you get funky pictures to look at and the story line in its purist form.

you get the latest on the story without having to wait for the next episode to come out and you'll also have a nice collection of images to use in siggies and avatars and such

also [and maybe the best bit] you can chat about whats been happening in an increasingly 'private' club [obviously its not an actual club, but you know what i mean. dont you?] and laugh at all the people that just watch the anime

i think everyone should read the manga as well as watch the anime. the manga gives you the story in the way it was originally meant and is different in some way to the anime

I've been thinking... Naruto manga had a short mini-series called 'Kakashi Gaiden' between it's 'Part 1' and 'Part 2.' Wouldn't it be cool is Kubo made a similar mini-series with Bleach, involving the Quincy and their extermination about 200 years ago?

It could be like Ishida's flashback of his grandpa telling him the story of the Quincy extermination. They could call it something like, 'Tale of the Quincy' or 'Quincy War Stories' and for the lack of a better name; 'Quincy Gaiden.' I'm sure it'd be really interesting AND important to the plot. We may get to see what the Gotei 13 were like before... And maybe, even the previous 11 Division Captain. (I'm not sure whether Zaraki was Captain at this time...) It would be quite interesting wouldn't it? We'd get to see loads of eye-candy Shinigami VS Quincy battles... :D It would be a tragic tale and only a single family or a handful would survive or something...

What do you guys think? Good idea or not? ^_^

Present it? Nah. For one, it wouldn't be right. And also, I don't think I have the guts / knowledge on how to present it. :p And besides, it's probable that Kubo himself already has an idea on how to deal with that aspect of the plot.

Maybe he'd make it not a mini-series but an anime-only story arc to take over the main storyline once Bleach anime goes into filler, you know? So instead of things like 'the Bount arc,' we'd have the 'Quincy History' arcs. This would promt people to follow both anime AND manga, despite the anime not focusing on the current manga arc for what ever reasons... ^_^

Well Ishida is powerful... the thing about him is that he's one of the few Bleach characters who actually thinks when fighting, unlike most others.

That was one of the best fights in the manga, but i still think Uryuu's fights areinteresting, just not as action-packed or exciting, the reason Uryuu got boring, is because he lost his powers for ages!
