No. I don't think there's a problem with that...why should there be? If girls can read guy magazines like some of those auto things...why not guys w\ "girl" magazines?

I didn't see anything wrong but since these nice ppl all agreed for me to take my life since I don't have a good one... thats why I read Cosmo in the 1st place... so I'd like to give thanks to Cosmo and I hope they bring better endings to others lives... I used to peep at my elder sister's cosmo mags (I think it was cosmo).....when I was
12...<_< >_>.
Suicide note? I'd have something mello-dramatic, with words of bravery and crap. THEN, I'd sign it in a rival's name..with goat blood..O_o WHERE would I get goat's blood? Wal-Mart, of course.

I think cosmo magazine are quite good. I read some of them too, and they really allow you to solve some problems of yourself especially in the part of the letters. Fashion section can be used to look at the current trend too though....=P

fill me in
whats glamour?
It sounds like a women magazine.
FYI, a man reading cosmo is as normal as a man wearing a pink tutu dancing to the theme song of oprah.

Probably a women magazine. I don't live in the US or in the Western hemisphere though. And Zero, your view is really one-sided only although I find it rather funny too especially on the part of pink tutu. Some people also read cosmos but they don't look like the type especially when they play rough games but yet read such magazines.
Cosmos can sometimes really help especially the part of being trendy. In Asia these magazines are also mainly read by both sexes because of the trend there. As for the West, I don't really know though~~=P

Glamour is....a magazine. A woman's magazine, and let's just say that it includes a little MORE than fashion tips...My sister has LOADS of them...dirty girl..

Hmm...care to show us a picture of what glamour magazine looks like? =P

My analogy ment that it happens, albeit rare, and if you do it in your house it's fine. But if you do it outside you might get a few looks.

Well...The COVER of Glamour isn't obscene...But it's what's inside that counts, right? Besides, if I posted even a little of what's in that magazine, I'd most likely be kicked out of Club Bleach...(Not to mention that I couldn't get inside my sister's room for the life of me.. =p)

Ugh chick magazines... you might want to check if you still have a pair of balls.

None of my friends read cosmo...except the girls. But ya, seeing any male reading those those type of mags feels unique. Or maybe curious..hahah o well :)

04-14-2005, 05:08 AM
ok i'd like to say a couple things here.
those girl/woman mags are terrible. they SOLVE problems that in my opinion are generated by trying to fit the mold of fashion (im still against acid washed pants and pink on guys.) "HOW TO SNAG THE GUY EVEN IF HE'S ALREADY WITH A GIRL" and "WHAT TO DO WHEN IT GETS TO THE BED" and more... yeah i have a couple of friends, sisters... both cheerleaders... and they read a few of em. OUT LOUD. usually my clue to leave the table.
metrosexuals are a group i will NEVER understand. pretty boys are useless in all respects. eye candy for the ladies and gay guys.... other than that they serve absolutely no function. im not talking about the well dressed guys, im talking about the manicure/peticure izod wearing white-sweater-draped-over-their-shoulders "hi im dick, wanna go to my rich daddy's country club?" boys. useless.
there is something worse than guys reading girly mags. girly guy mags. what do i speak of? lets say "i had a bad experience..." (-Mos Def, The Italian Job)
i get 6 car mags to my house each month. the publisher called asking if we'd like a free mag subscription. i asked "whats it called?" the operator said "its a new magazine called details." i agreed, thinking, ok these are car guys, why not try another car mag. (those of you know already, forgive me.)
details shows up at my house a month later.... vin diesel on the cover. im confused, but i open it up anyways..... yeah i found out the hard way that its a male cosmo. *shudder* i called and cancelled. they havent stopped coming.

Maybe you are a girl. :p
But, yeah, I don't know. I don't read many magazines anyway, let alone Cosmo (Cosmopolitan, right).
But you are who you are, or maybe you aren't.

I've read a few before out of sheer boredom. Some stuff isn't all that bad, but most is pretty boring, since half of it's apparently about good-looking movie actors or singers. =_=
Some...interesting things in there as well, to say the least.

Uhh.. cosmo?? I have never read one of those in my life, I have no Idea what they are about but the girls seem to love them..
I'd say yea its kinda odd
Imo, I think its normal for a guy to browse through a female magazine once in a while. They may be metrosexual or just simply curious about us girls. I suppose I'd be a bit startled if you start reading them monthly and collecting them.

<< Curious, and apparently metro.
It was a mixture of curiosity and boredom. Word of advice: reading those things does let you experience how females think, so you can see their point of view.

Haha, reminds me of the episode of Seinfeld when George got caught getting off to a Glamour magazine... hahaha...
If your skimming through a cosmo for that purpose then its okay :lol

I don't think it's normal but... Sometimes it's the only thing to read at a doctor's or dentist office since the magazines are too old or you read them.
..I still read it when i get the chance...

09-28-2007, 07:34 PM
hum...well if you'd like to get a better understanding of women psychology and interest...why not ?
i mean it's not that big of a deal...
i read them. ;)

Same here. Why would anyone read them?
raimanu
09-28-2007, 07:52 PM
i don't know how many magazines they sell every week or every month ?
but i know they sell a whole lot of them, otherwise it wouldn't be profitable to continue to print them...
anyways, a lot of women are reading them for a reason, and perhaps, if a guy reads them, he'll will understand some of the interests of a majority of women out there...
anyways, it has to be women who buy it, because we men are only buying the magazine with a little bunny ;)
as far as, is it normal for a guy to read cosmo in the US...
i don't know, because in france, you wouldn't believe what some guys read here...
