Never played it, never read a reivew about it, not even sure what it looks like. I have a great detest for nintendo now after they convinced me to buy a gamecube, then make no good games for it. Currently a game boy advanced costs more than a new gamecube :/ Stupid con artists I'm never buying Nintendo shit again, XBOX all the way!!

I think DS is awesome my little brother has it, and I just can't stop playing it. Super Mario 64 DS is a great game that should be bought with DS! I'm a big Sony fan however I don't think there PSP is gonna beat this thing. :headbang:

I don't really like Nintendo. Nintendo is way behind the Xbox and PS2. They get too carried away with all the Mario, Luigi, Yoshi etc games but the allways have good technology like the small discs for the Gamecube and also the size of the Gamecube and the DS wont dissapoint in the technology department but the Xbox's and the Playstations are just too popular to ignore. I wont be getting a DS that's for sure.

I wouldn't knock off Nintendo's gaming consoles, the GBA SP was/is the most popular console out now (sells wise), why? probably because of the price of the system and the price of the games not to mention the cool titles it has: Final Fantasy Remakes, Shining Force, Breath of Fire, etc etc...

But than again Nintendo had a few bugs of its own... What happened to the first version of the Gameboy Advanced ? Bad lighting i think ?.... After that we got another revision of it.. And i still can't figure out why the DS has the pen for? The only good thing it can do is tic-tac-toe >=S

Either way DS or PSP is good, good for the consumers because now we have options.

Gamecube went really bad here in Australia, Gameboy Advanced are like $120-$130, a Gamecube is like $70-$80.. The only reason I got a Gamecube in the first place was for Zelda, then they go and cell shade it and it was a really ****ed up game :/ Man... I got ripped off, I payed $318 for it when it first came out, now if i sell it with my 5 games, im lucky if I can get $100... all the games I payed $100 for, are like $15 now :/

Actually even though im getting both systems I dont think the PSP is gonna be better than the DS. The PSP doesnt impress me all that much, I mean the hardware isnt all that impressive, it doesnt play mp4s and the it does play mp3s, but the DS is going to come out with a add-on that does that, and that plays mpegs. On the game side, id like to play some psp games and the game i wanted most of all for the PSP, (Metal Gear Acid) turned out to be a card battle game, but on the Ds side most of the games look pretty good to me. Another plus to getting the DS over the PSP is the fact that not only is the console cheaper, but so are the games, they are only 30 bucks. so if i had to choose Id pic the DS over the PSP.

Well both points are true but the psp plays mpeg 4 videos and has movies on UMD (the disk that the psp takes) any way i personaly am going to get both but i am leaning twords the PSP and not the DS simply because it seems to be more of a conventional gaming system (ie no gimicky dubble screen) altho the psp has so many other features (mp3 play back ect.) the DS may end up being the more gamer console (by that i mean it will feature more gaming that extras) but yes the MGS:Acid card prospect turned me off and the back and foth on the ds for sonic DS also was a turn off both are the games that made me initialy want the hand held console...(i hope im just thinking it's worse than it is)

Yeah I saw a Gamecube for $80 the other day, I have Wind Waker.. the cell shading is crap but I can't be a Zelda fan without completing it anyway... but the next one I'm just gunna find an emulator for or something... screw buying a new console for it :/

ummm I rather like the DS even though I only have Super Mario DS a heck of alot of the new Mini Games are adicting and I like the Map on one screen and the Game on another

but the touch control for the main game sucks

The Touch Screen could be really good for Strategy, Puzzle or Role-Playing games but not much else
