Uhm, anyone do DDR/StepMania...?

I love both Dance Dance Revolution and StepMania. ... But I'm one heck of alot better at DDR. But then again, if I keyboard it at StepMania. .... Waaait.. Ah, fudge it, I don't know.

Let's see... On DDR I can do pretty much any Beginner, Light, and Standard. I can do 25% of the Heavy songs, and like 2 or 4 on Challenge.
But then again... On StepMania depending on how hard I focus, I can do *almost* anything. (<-- But that's on keyboard) On foot... Ehh... only a bit of Standard and below.

Oh, and if you don't know what StepMania is, it's a legal cross of DDR and Pump it Up, for PC only. What rocks about StepMania is anyone can make songs and steps for it, which means you can get anime music, too, and just about anything. And there is such thing as an adapter so you can use a typical DDR/Pump it Up pad.

I used to play at about an 8 step level. (I could pass 8 step songs) but then i joined the military and haven;t played much in over a year. If i ever go buy myself a Cobalt Flux pad and get going again, i will proobboly start getting my level up.

I saw an old version of it. You must sing and it will record you into a video or something like that.

meh...i can do pretty good on [ddr] heavy..max 300 is the best heavy song i can do w/o failing...on stepmania its much easier...

and in my personal opinion i think Max is the best mix. Best songs + Hardest mix

I used to play a lot of stepmania, but it was ddr that got me started on it all a few summers ago. I used to be able to pass most 9 footers. Today, I don't know. :P

On stepmania though I could do much better. Then anything that is DDR is quite easy. So I play harder songs made by other players.

Holy crap I love this game. I can pretty much pass all heavy (with the exception of some 10 steps) and it's just so fun. I got a RedOctane High Ignition pad for Christmas. They're supposed to last a while but mine's almost broken.

I play DDR every now and then, but imo, ITG is better. I can do most heavy songs except for the really slow ones (i hate them for being so slow <_<), and the hard ones (Max, Paranoia Survivor)

Paranoia isn't that hard, neither is Max 300, I usually play it at 450 just to make it fun. Lol, sandstorm is a song I think everyone loves. Did you guys know that Rythmn and Police is probably the most popular DDR song of all time? It used to be the theme song to some corny Japanese cop show lol.

This was back when I used one hand =). Not very long ago... You can hear me, my dad and my sister xD. The video's not off-sync, I made the steps faster by changing the rate, and all those people who posted a comment were my friends.

I'm going to be getting Stepmania soon...probably will ahve time to get that and the adapter for my dancepad over thanksgiving. I really want to dance to the bleach openings/closings.

As for DDR...I have done a little DDR before, but that was awhile ago. It's a pretty fun thing to do.

actually, you can attach some pads up to the usb port using an adapter, and use a pad on the computer.

I used to play alot and alot of ddr now i just got stepmania(ddr on the computer) im like god at this and i paly all these anime songs that are so awesome. You can get bleach songs on it and play them.

I've tried it all of twice in my life, both times suckered into it.....and both times I felt uber stupid lol

I'm not bashing the game at all, its just not my bag. On a side note, a huge reason to why I felt stupid playing it is because I was at this local arcade for my younger brothers birthday, and here I was a 23 year old dancing around on this thing with a bunch of 14 year olds watching me

Hmm yeah thats what sucks about it, I've seen a few people on youtube doing Legend of the Max on the keyboard (LOL) which won't be surprising if someone gets Triple A rank in SDO but if you get to see your avatar dancing...it sounds cool.
