I'm hoping they do a filler on every captain/vc. But there are certainly captains than need that filler more than others and Koma definitely begs for one. His meeting with Yama, his mistreating, his friendship with Tousen. I think they could make an excellent filler episode out of it, if tackled right.

It's been suggested that the upcoming fillers are going to be about SS. They might cover various shinigami character backgrounds, which they haven't been able to do in the manga yet. I would like to see this. The kaka super heros aren't my idea of Bleach. Anyway, I'd like to join this FC.

Komamura doesn't get enough loven'. All the people treat him mean because of his appearance. That's not nice. A lot of ignent folk also say he's weak because of his past performances in battle. I don't think so. It took Aizen's entire hand to block his shikai when it took one finger to stop Ichigo's bankai. Although, I may be reading into that too much , but he also dealt with Black Coffin well. I bet most of the other shinigami including some captains would've just stayed down after getting hit with it.

You are most certainly right. Black Coffin would of completely incapacitated most others, even killed some. Not only did Koma take it like a champ, he was still concious and talking afterwards. That is some serious durability.

Back on topic. In the anime, Ikkaku makes a comment to Iba (7th Divisions VC) about him skipping out of 11th division just to get VC spot on another division (7th). I know 11th division squad members are insanely powerful, 5th seats and such matching strength with VC's, but do you think maybe the 7th Division is weak if a (probably seated) member of 11th can just transfer to 7th and become VC?

Yeah, it's because of that that the 11th division doesn't like Iba. Well, I guess Iba could have transfered to any division he wanted. I guess if the VC seat is open or a seated position that I guess. But the people who do that are looked down upon, I'm assuming.

I know. Komamura really didn't help Tousen that much. Plus, I think that pretty much anyone who fought Aizen would get beaten as fast as he did, he's literally as strong as it gets, unless he becomes a vizard or something. Komamura is really strong, and Kenpachi is lame...

Truth. But the Kenpachi and Koma thing comes mostly from Koma and Tousen using their powers on Kenpachi, and he didn't as much as flinch. I do think it's unfair though, he should not be thought weak from just that fight, it wasn't even much of a fight. It's just got to be accepted though, that Zenpachi will always be thought stronger. The fanbase for him is larger and Kenpachi fans will never accept anything less than Koma being "owned". Unless of course they fought again and Koma beat him down... not sure if that will happen though.

Probably, such is the fate of all the cool anime characters... but once we see what his bankai actually does (and come the arankaru I'm sure we will soon) maybe he will get more respect. Nobody cares that he's a nice guy or anything, they all want flashy bankai or amazing looking characters.

Smallkid: True, but there is always a chance. I only follow the anime, so when I talk I talk from the anime released so far, but I get the feeling Zaraki doesn't really care about anything but himself, this including Aizen. If that's the case, he may still try and feed his hunger for violence and fighting, despite what kind of problems SS may be undergoing... And I could see Zaraki trying to follow up with their last fight.

Of course, I'm just holding out a little hope lol... Poor Koma... The big fox just needs a little TLC.

Definetly. Kenpachi's got Zanjutsu, but Komamura has probably got him beat in more fields than that. Plus, I think Kokujyoutengenmyouou would be a little harder to deal with than Suzumushi Tsuishika Enmakourogi.

So here's a question to you Koma fans: So far what has been your favourite scene with Koma in it?

My favourite is when they confront Zaraki and he tells them to come out, and you see one foot of each person and it goes normal, normal, normal then BAM! Huge metallic foot lands and breaks the rooftop. Then it zooms out and shows the Captains and Vice-Captains and Koma is standing there in all his bad-assedness. (Anime)

That would be a great display of power and serve to repair his somewhat tarnished image. I'm sure he'll get a battle to redeem his rep later in the manga like Renji did. It's a guarantee.

Yeah. Eventually a huge group will probably enter Hueco Mundo, and Komamura being Tousen's friend (and a captain) will go with them then fight Tousen, and own him. Or at least have a good fight. Whichever, as long as there is much Komamura action.

As Koma has said before... He is not gentle. He isn't afraid to fight and kill. If will kill for Yama, and protect SS. If he has to kill Tousen, I believe Koma would in the end do so. But it would make a great fight, no doubt.

Hopefully. I was just chilling out in the "Who's the weakest Captain" thread, and a good number think Komamura is the weakest. Koma, Mayuri and Retsu are the most used names. It looks like there is even less respect for our big fox friend than I originally thought. But again, he is a character with limited on screen time. I'm sure later when he's shown more, more members will come to join.

I see no reason why people would think that Komamura is the weakest captain... the only fights he's been in so far have either been unfinished or against someone who is as powerful as you can get. Why can't people understand that Hitsugaya is pretty weak too... Mayuri and Unohana I can understand, but they really aren't supposed to be that strong in terms of fighting, more in other fields.

Most overated character on Bleach. He is so unoriginal and cliche but look as his fanbase. Easily the most liked or one of the most liked characters... It's true, most people appreciate originality and uniqueness less and that's why characters like Komamura suffer in their fanbase. But we can look past the shell of the character and come up with more than "omg liek he's teh pwnage and he's SOOOO hawt!!!!". But yes, people are that easy to sell to usually. But it is just an anime, so... Whatever.

No, I agree with you. I believe Koma would win. I'm just saying, many would argue that "Hitsugaya is fast" as if that was proof alone he is superior.

And I believe it may change for the worst. He will probably get bitter and ill-tempered although I could hardly blame him. But it will probably be a passing thing. But a good thing, methinks. We saw what anger did to Koma when he was with Aizen, I can only imagine his rage when meeting up with Tousen!

Actually... It shows him run right passed him, his movements completely visible. He was just running at an incredible speed... I thought shunpo was moving from one area to another at a speed so fast, it seems like teleportation because you would not be able to see the motion of the body? That is how they show shunpo with everybody else who uses it. Or am I mistaken and he did use shunpo? I don't really know the details, that's just what I thought.

Well of course they would of been occupied with Aizen, but after he left, there would be no reason for them not to see him. He's sitting there, he's dying. As we have seen do far, Bleach has a lot of characters with decieving appearances. Komamura is one of them. I don't think he would be not allowed to enter the Gotei for being a fox, plus Yamamoto took pity on him and actually cared for him. I don't really know how he got to be so 'foxy,' if you will, but I don't care.

I wonder what Komamura was before he died and came to Soul Society. Was he a human being, a fox, a wolf, or a red wolf? Maybe he was a Youkai like in Inuyasha, but that would be kind of weird. I think what he is currently is a humanoid red wolf. Somebody made a very interesting connection between one of their hunting habits and his zanpaku-to.

lol. But how can he modify his body to the point that he can turn into ooze...? I mean when he does, where are his lungs, heart, brain? It just turns into liquid to and then forms back when he does. That's seriously crazy. He must have had something to do with it, but it might have to do more with his shikai... Because he did stab it through his face before melting.

But anyways, Koma wouldn't be so great if he wasn't a fox. That is what makes him so cool.

I think Mayuri said it's one of his sword abilities. With the weirdness that is Legshredder Priest I wouldn't find it hard to believe. It's shikai is pretty cool in a creepy way though. I wonder if he will stay as he is now or put on the freak show costume again. He looks a lot better in his current form and his voice changed when he talked to Nemu. Who do you think will take him out? Will it be Ishida or you know who?

Komamura could easily kick a gillian's ass. His shikai and bankai seemed to be designed for it. I could imagine the latter just tearing through dozens of Menos Grande. It would make for one huge and badass battle. Such a display would probably bring him more fans too.

In addition to that, I think any captain could tear through a bunch of Menos, but since Komamura seems to be one of the stronger ones I think he could tear through more. I wish he'd do that, though, we'd probably get more members.

I'm expecting Koma to be the the Captain to go straight after Tousen. He is a great friend of Yama's and Tousen is now his #1 enemy. I'm sure he'd ask Yama for the opputunity to go after Tousen, and I believe Yama would grant it.
