Shadow of the Colossus

Has anyone ever played, Shadow of the Colossus?
Heard it's a great game but really short because there aren't that many Colossus to take down but other then that cinematics, graphics, story-line, and music are suppose to be surperb.

If you've played it before tell me how it was and if it's a rent or buy game.

yeah, its really hard though, havnt beated it yet, but its freaken awesome!!! need lots of different strategies for every colossus though

Im playing it, stuck on the fourth boss i think. The one that looks like a horse

I would say rent. It gets really irritating after some awhile cause it's quite tedious.

I beated the game, its awesome.

The horse you need to go down the "cave" and wait until he peeks inside. When he peeks, go to the exit on the opposite side and climb his back.

yea its a awsem game i watched my friend go though the hole thing one word i have to desribe this game is _EPIC_

This game is great,you can stand on your horse and you can whistle to
your horse,it's very good game

I beat the game just recently... I would say it's a one week rent game, I beat it in 5 hours off the first try but it has time attack to unlock things which is great for a re-playablity factor, and a easter egg after you beat it 4-5 times on the same file. It's really good but I wasn't to happy with the ending myself but im thinking theres a possible second ending maybe? For those of you that beat it im sure you can understand what I mean... (semi-spoiler don't read it if you haven't beaten the game)
didnt kill preist at the end, is it possible?
Otherwise great game. The colossi... I feel bad for them when they fall haha.

about the horse.. The grapics aren't great for the horse and rider.. The landscape however, was out of this world..

Im playing it as i type... The 9th boss is driving me nuts so i thought id take a break.

I can get him under the giezers and topple him and climb up onto his back but because theres nothing to hold on to when he gets his balance and turns back around again i just get thrown off >.<

EDIT: Scratch that just pnwed him and the three after :)

Gotta feel sorry for the big guys when they go down :/

Just wait till you get to the last colossus, it gets really epic. And I do feel sorry for the colossus, especially at the end where

It rolls the credits and shows the remains of the 16 colossus with sad violin music in the background

Ahh im not looking at the spoiler *covers eyes and clicks his mouse franticly trying to close the window*

Right now im at the second small colossus. The first is one is the one afraid of fire, an this is the one which involves all the jumping from ruin to ruin. You know the ones that sorta resemble a cross between a dog and a bull :P

Anyway yeah im finding the jumping from falling pillar to falling pillar hard as i can never time the jump perfectly :(

That and very frustrating cause if you dont hit it right first time you need to start over >.<

But yeah everytime one of the colossi fall and its in slow motion with the music playing, man i could nearly shed a tear. But i think its supposed to be like that sacrificing the lives of all these amazing creatures just to bring your love back to life. Kinda emotional stuff.

Mind you i havnt beat the game yet but i think i get the jist of it :P
