Isn't that the way it always goes? My guinea pigs' cage takes up half my bedroom. With the cage, desk, bookshelf and bed, I have less room to move around then they do. They eat better then me too. Let's see, over the years, I've started off with having two turtles when I was in 3rd grade, but man, those things were annoying to clean up after. We have them out to my cousin for free a few short weeks after. Then we bought, well, my 1st dog since my dad already had dogs as pet before me, a couple of weeks later after giving away those turtles. It was a miniature schnauzer, cute little things.

I had wanted this dog and my sister got jealous so she wanted her own pet, which was a hamster, but somehow my dog ended up eating the master... >.>

A couple of years later, we got a another pet dog but it was a female and this time it was the same type, but for my sister. Sometime later, those two had babies, we sold all the babies but one but unfortunantly couldn't keep it long because 2 years later, not only did my 1st dog die of old age but my newborn dog died of a disease shortly after, I was pretty sad for a while. We ended up buying a puppy from the dog store. That was the last pet we ever got.

I was pretty amazed though to see a white miniature schnauzer, I never imagined there were those kind of dogs, just saw it one day a couple of years back when some owner was walking his white miniature schnauzers. I thought they look so freakin' cool! I've only seen them from greyish to salt & pepper to all black. Black is probably the ugliest color for a miniature schnauzer.

i use to have a dog, it was a mut, untrained and extremely vicious. i taught it so many bad habits, i use to let it bite me when it was a puppy so it thought it was Ok to do that, when it started growing bigger his teeth could draw occassionally. It was really my fault my dog was too vicious, i never trained it i was too lazy. However he was starting to attack guests that came to our house, and even i had trouble controlling it sometimes. My mum gave it to one of our friends who trained dogs, when i wasn't home. I was sad to see it go and also a bit releived becasue i didn't have to constantly worry about it escaping.

Yeah they are smooth. I have one now. It's just a corn snake though. I did have a red-tailed boa constrictor, but he died.
I always have a lot of pets. Right now I have a snake, a rabbit, 2 dogs, a turtle, and fish.

I agree ^^ I have the cats and the guinea pigs, but if we didn't have a pool I'd have at least one dog. When I worked at the Zoo I tried to convince my parents to let me bring home a baby Bearded Lizard too, but that was a no-go. XD

ZOMG that must have been amazing. The zoo I worked at has two breeding pairs of Marmosets, and one of them had two babies the summer I was working there. They're so cute and tiny!!

I agree that pets are rather troublesome. Everytime I go away for a holiday, we need relatives to come over to help feed our dogs. >.> Apart from that, we need to bathe them every week.
