Thing gmv.

thing ~ you might want to try and make somewhat smaller sigs, the bigger the more filling they need. the render is awesome. it just screams 'depressed' in some sort..

hitsu ~ you could have done more with such a picture, just to crop and paste it seems lazy and way below your level.

I imagine you try simplicity on your sig Thing, this one is very good.
Although simple, plain and empty even, it is a boon in compare to the crowded render and small sig of Hitsugaya's

Yours have a simple taste, matching colors with the render itself, it is tastefully done and maintains a clear view over all the simplicity.
Text is clear at the same time.

Hitsu's it is simply kinda small and congested, I would not recommend a dark background, as it is 3D, IMO 3D renders often leave many edges, and if you do not fully blend them in, it doesn't work too well.
Although the render BG is brighter, I can still see it is not blended as well. the edges on the two sides is also emptily black and lacks a proper border.

HitsugayaT's sig looks a like it could have been way better, the stock just seems to have been stuck on a black BG with a slight feathering at the edges and maybe the adddition of the flower petels..I don't know if they were orginally there or not, the text looks odd and I don't really like the circle thing around the text. There also is no visable border on the sig.

Thing's sig is well done, though simple it looks really good, the stock looks excellent and the color and the text seem to go with the character. I really love the border,it looks really well done and just adds to the lovelyness of this sig, though the sig is a little big it still looks great.

Thing; everyone can...or at least should be able to count - effectively, by updating the score tally after every post, all you are doing is spamming. I advise you to stop.

Overall, I vote for Thing's entry.

Hitsugaya24: Personally, leaving the black in there didn't do your entry much justice in my opinion. It makes it stand out as being a rushed, unfinished job. The colours are more appealing than Thing's, and I personally did like the use of the tech circles with the name in it. The lines through the tech circles added a nice element to the peice.

Thing: Although dull in colour, and relatively empty like I mentioned in the mIRC chat, it has a sense of being a finished peice, albeit lacking something as another point of focus aside from the render. (which is well done by the way) Brushing even just a few clicks would solve the emptiness issue, either that, or like fbbls suggested, a smaller sig dimension size. I like the fact that the protrudes from the sig, even ever so slightly adds a level of depth to the sig.

I vote for Thing's sig.

The text on thing's is FANTASTIC, and the bg allures a calm laid back sort of state that also shows in the stock's..presonality. I sound like an art teacher now don't I? x3

Hitsugaya, anyone can just cut something out, center it in a piece and have fading edges. >_>

I actually got the stock from one of the Speed Grapher videos, I was watching it and then the ending credits came on so I decided I wanted to make a signature of it, I looked around for some pictures but I couldn't find any good ones, so in the end I printed the screen and cut it out on Photoshop :)

O_O Then I couldn't find the Speed Grapher text, so I had to make my own thing... I guess it turned out pretty good, took me a while though, I couldn't find the right circles, but I liked the ones I have on there XD

HitsugayaT - 2
Thing - 6

I will end this battle with a victory for Thing who gets my vote.

Thing: I'm loving the simplicity of the sig. It's definitely bigger than I like, but I guess that's just my personal taste. The text is cool, the stock is great and the pop out is well-done (not overdone like some people's)

Hitsu: The render looks a bit too much like a cut out; the falling leaves/petals are too big IMO, and I think the sig's too black as a whole. It's not bad though :)
