Ur a little spammy aren't you??
Well I like kenshin in the beggining and I still think that sanouske is one of the best chs evver. BUT!!! It get's kind of boring.. kenshin always acts the same way and he is a pretty boring mr-I-always-say-the-right-things and he sounds, looks, acts like a girl (he has to be gay). The battle-animation suxx, you see em draw and then u see a flash and then the other guy beggins to bleed and he always get his robe cutted up a little WTF use some imagination. The fight with the machinegun guy in the manison (was some time since I saw it) was pretty good though. And it was very little plot, u always thought it would breakout in to a very epic adventure but tooooo friggin slow it was. THe subbing was not that good, I mean not putting the words in right order is just stupid. It got to the state where naruto is now at ep seven. It could be good if they just fixxed some major "bugs".

I have to agree. it rocks. I love the animation and the story material is good. Saito and Sano are the two best characters on there. (I want to see them fight.)

(Drifter jumped for joy because they actually agreed on something)
Yeah I really want to see them fight. Also, I wish that Aoshi had actually beat the crap out of Kenshin. Aoshi is a beast. kenshin is not. (I love the show but not Kenshin Himura)

I don't understand how u can make a character look and move so feminim and then have a female voice actor trying to talk like a man (but that just makes it more gay) and then say that he is a guy, why do the love shemales so much in japan. Screw em, sanouske is my guy ><//

Rock on! He is my personal favorite as well. I love the ZanBatou (too bad it only appears twice in the whole thing)

The ending ruined it for me ... It doesn't even come close to the OVAS Trust and Betrayal though.

Oh, it's that bad? That sucks. OVAS was good. But I still love Rurouni kenshin b/c of Sano!

The OVAs are much better than the normal series, but I do enjoy the normal series a lot. The manga is much better, of course.
Rurouni Kenshin really does pick up in the second season when Saito shows up. By then the animations at about the quality of Samurai X, and the fights are actually well done, without a bunch of shortcuts (I absolutely love the fight that Kenshin and Saito have, it's extremely brutal and overall well done).
And I should point out that there is a reason that Kenshin is so effeminate, it's all part of his trying not to be the hardened killer he once was. When he refers to himself he says "Sessha", which, as I understand, is essentially "this lowly one". Kenshin is extremely polite in how he speaks and acts, it's a very crucial part of the character. Honestly, the "OMG GHEY!" reaction is rather uninformed. There's a very good reason for how he is and it's handled well.
And on that note, I will point out that when he reverts to "Battousai" mode, he uses "ore", which is a strong, masculine way to refer to oneself. He is also a lot more precise and matter of fact, as well as harder and colder.
As far as realism is concerned, Rurouni Kenshin is much less realistic than Samurai X, which, aside from one move in the opening sequence (when Hiko Seijuro literally dices a man up with three slashes), all of the fighting is very well done and realistic. Rurouni Kenshin can get rather rediculous quite fast.
Either way though, it's a good, solid and enjoyable series, but sadly falls somewhat flat with the vast amount of filler. Read the manga, it's much better. And watch Samurai X, it is a masterpiece.
