I thought this was only coming out for J-PS2 but i was wrong anway were a long ways from this being Released it releases in Jun. 2006 O_o

It supposed to center around Vincent Valentine (<--Main Character)

Hmmm...don't know what's going on with play asia, but I got my copy late this afternoon...after I do some laundry and some work, it's off to revisit the FFVII world...

They should delve into his background as to what happened between last order and the game's time frame. You know, his turk days...more about obtaining his devilish side.

The trailer released is on par with the quality of advent children, at least the pre-rendered scenes that is. From the looks of the gameplay, it seems that it could get pretty hairy as far as switching views and weapons to say the least. But then, I said that about Kingdom Hearts and ended up adjusting to that battle system quite well.

let me get this strait i just finished watching the FF7 last order an was curios if Zack is Vincent i mean it seem kinda obvious after watching it but just want to make sure, also was Clouds memory implanted, was it originally Zacks, the ending of last order was also confusing i didn't get the timeline of it, was it the start of the chase or after?
by the way when is FF7 AC coming out in america? it shouldn't be long it came out awhile ago in Japan

...Zack is zack, and he is dead. Vincent is vincent, and he is an Ex-turk who, like Cloud and zack (among others) was expiramented upon by Hojo, and infused with Mako. Cloud has Zacks memory because the two went through alot together, including being Hojo's guinnie pigs. After Zack died saving him, he blocked out his real-life crappy and guilt ridden memory to make himself able to function.

On a side note, who else picked up that Zack and Aeris were a couple before she met cloud? That weirds me out like nothing else.
Cloud never reached first classed SOLIDER an in the game he was. i found that odd that in the begining of ff7 he was Zack with his memories an such. also at the end of last order the one that they refer to the new guy was that Vincent? ofcourse from ff7 the game we was only introduce to three member so i guess it could be any of the 6-7 of them. were do you get your information from, zack an Aeris where did you heard that from?

i havent watch advent chilldren ill wait till it comes out:)

I know what you mean....Zack is Cloud's best friend...Zack dies protecting Cloud...Cloud convinces himself that he is indeed Zack...Cloud hits on Zack's woman (although, at the time, he didn't know who Zack was)...
They make it pretty clear in the game that Aeris and Zack were a couple, so I wasn't surprised when they hinted as much during AC.

if I remember correctly, in the game, Aeris mentions something about Cloud reminding her of her first boyfriend (who, also, just happens to be from Soldier: First Class)...

Later in the game when more of the story is revealed, it's pretty clear, imo, that the person Aeris was referencing was Zack...

Yuffie was the worst charecter besides Cait Sith.

Vincent, Red XIII, and Cid were the best charecters. In that order.

I wouldn't call it "flaming" but it definitely leaves a lot to be desired...

then again, I don't enjoy shooters so I'm pretty bias in that regards...

the powers that be over at square could of at the very least made this an action rpg...

Depends what you want them for - I think those three were the worst characters cos they didn't amuse me at all. Yuffie and Cait Sith were both brilliantly funny. What's not to like about Yuffie - she's a ninja!

No. You can't blame them for trying to reach out to a larger audience....but it's like Porsche making a kids' bicycle. It just shouldn't happen. :doindadom

Yes. They release Advent Children, then they release FF XII. It does make some sense since their in the FFVII Character mind set right now. Plus, I think Vincent is pretty cool.

My only concern is the gameplay. I don't think Square would mess up their most popular game's story. Hell, even if I don't like the new background information we're sure to get, it's still interesting to learn about "old friends." Anyway, I look forward to to the game.

Sorry dudes, this game is a major disappointment. I never would have expected this coming from Final Fantasy but it really was pretty bad. The only interesting part is Online Gameplay which i haven't yet done. It's an ALRIGHT game at most, but a def. rent-before-bought
how so?? did you import it? does the gameplay suck or the story just stupied. im not expecting much from the gameplay, except that ill play like a socom or some thing.
