Here is something I was going to paste into the Bleach Portal Radio thread in General Lounge
"Ok, actually no.
It's not "fine" - I know how to perform my duties quite substantially, and I do so according to the rules. The rules specify that duplicate threads are not required - the thread was initially a duplicated thread and thusly the reason it was closed.
Wow, and Admin for 4 whole years. =)
I've been doing this type of work for well over 7 now and know EXACTLY what I should and should not be doing.
Simply because Unholy chose to make things difficult by deleting the other thread and my post; it has caused problems.
Xeon - did you not recieve a 1st warning from DragonBlade due to Unholy's action at delting my post, meaning for you therefore made a double post?
If Unholy hadn't done so, you wouldn't have been needlessly warned.
If that's "fine" with you then I have no quarms over the warning DB gave you, and I shall not ask him to revoke it.
Aside from that issue, according to the rules, you're detrimental posts towards me for my correct actions taken according to those rules, you should both be warned for offensive posting towards another member of CB.
Members of staff do not do things for no reason, they have their purposes and do things according to the requirements.
The other topic shouldn't have been deleted - which means that this thread shouldn't have been made.
The thread was not fine until I came into - it was a duplicated thread when I came into it, and I acted accordingly.
The resultant requirement of a duplicate thread (which it was until Unholy decided to delete the other) is to close it and redirect to the initial thread.
I know how to use the search fucntion and do so when required.
It was NOT required in this instance as I was well aware of another thread regarding bleach Portal Radio already being in existence.
As Unholy decided to needlessly delete the intial thread once again, this has caused problems."
This arose due to several things: Last night, a duplicate thread of the Bleach Portal Radio discussion that WAS in the annoucnements, was made in the General Lounge announcing that it was back up and running.
It had obviously been down for some time, and the annoucnement in the "new" thread was to make people aware that it was back up and running.
Now being a duplicated thread about Bleach Portal Radio; I provided a link to the original thread, asked the poster (Xeon) not make duplicate threads in the future, and promptly closed it.
End of the matter?
No.
Unholy at this point decided to "hard" delete, leaving no trace for evidence on the matter (I thought only severe circumstances required the hard delete option for these exact reasons???) the original thread.
He then proceeded to delete my post closing the "new" thread.
This resulted in DB providing Xeon with a warning for double posting - not his fault. That was Unholy's doing.
Now, when I logged on this morning, I found the thread had been reopened and my post deleted, and numerous instances of my being "ranted at for performing my duties "correctly according to the rules" - confused by the matter, I provided my reasoning once again as to why the thread had been previously closed.
I mentioned that when I had copied the url from the other thread - I would edit the link into my post.
When I went to find the original Bleach Portal Radio thread in the annoucnements section, only to find it had been deleted by Unholy.
Thusly I reopened the thread and explained that I was not aware of it having been deleted.
At which point several instances of the flaming rule were broken when Xeon and Coolrock decided to cuss me out to high heaven for performing my duties correctly, and closing a duplicated thread. (which was now, no longer duplicate thread thanks to Unholy, and yet again the evidence was hard deleted by him.)
This has caused problems for Xeon in that he should be realistically be banned for 24 hours if DB's initial warning stands - even though it was Unholy's fault in the first place that Xeon was warned. He wouldn't have been warned for double posting, because the thread was closed.
He also wouldn't have cussed me out to high heaven and accused me of being a bad mod and not knowing or performing my duties accordingly, if Unholy hadn't have deleted the intial thread in the annoucnements section.
Is it just me or do all these problems relate to Unholy's actions and not my own?
I did things by the book, according to the rules we set up.
...and I was the one put into a lose, lose situation because of this.
It's simply not right. =/
...and just in case he decides to delete this as well, I'm PM'ing myself the details, because this is simply ridiculous!!
It just got a whole lot bigger!!!!
Unholy has just Modded a n00b.
CoolRock!!!!
Come on...this is pure bullshit.
*Waves at Unholy reading the thread*
[EDIT:] I can't find where he is moderated if that is the case, but his name never the less is emphasised as being a moderator.
*Continues checking each forum to see if he's modded anywhere*
