Pushing the topic up since we had a big problem last time I made a new topic.

As of right now, MZ, the leader of BP Radio, hasn't been around at all. We think he left to work at a "real" radio station. So, as of this moment, MZ will be stepping down as leader.

Nothing has been set up yet as far as leaders go, but I can say that Kisu and I will be pulling the radio back together. Yes, I've called in Kisu to help out with this problem. He'll be DJing aswell as helping out with getting the radio back on it's feet.

I'm trying to work out a schedule for the next two weeks. The schedule will be starting this Sunday, with chizuru DJing and doing Talk Shows again =)

If you don't remember the times for BP Radio, here they are:

7 P.M. - 10 P.M. EST | 10 P.M - 1 A.M. EST

I'm going to try and have a DJ on everynight at those times.

This is Ichikisu a.k.a. Kisu by most people. I have decided to assist the radio station once again only this time, I've been requested to help. I'll be happy to get this radio station back to where I left off as it was doing good on its own when I left. I'm honoured to be able to help BP Radio once again and give it the jive that it once had.

Thus far, things are starting to get back on track since MZ is now "under the ground" with BP Radio. I will be working well with Coolrock to make sure this radio station stays on its feet. I wish to keep people entertained while they wait for Bleach to be released every week. It would be the number of DJs to support 24/7. Me and Coolrock are working hard to get some DJs signed up so we can go 24/7 if possible. I plan to get my radio station working but since I've been screwed out of it for some time, I will permanently reside my DJing here with BP Radio instead. If you know anyone that can help, please PM or email me at kisu@kisucommunity.ca or rvv-ae@accesscomm.ca as I check both very often, first one being my own domain that I currently run.

Good question. The answer to that is the fact that airing on the radio from our computers does take up bandwidth so you'd have to keep that in mind. As much as I would love to make this a 24/7, I don't currently have a bandwidth capable of allowing it to do so and allowing me to use my internet for personal use as well. I try to balance everything as much as possible as I like to commit to communities, especially BP Radio since I did a fair amount of work to get it running in the first place along side with Shadowalker. Other than that, I will be keeping that in mind and have thought about it.

If you have photoshop, it comes with imageready which is able to create animation. google up imageshack animation tutorials if needed. Dont go offtopic here.

Oh no. Sometimes the radio station isn't on. We will keep you updated to when the broadcast is live. I just forgot to mention that our station was down for the night. My bad. As for the link, it should play just fine with Windows Media Player, Real Media and such. Anything that can play url or streaming audio links.

Coolrock is correct. Without a solid team to hold a schedule, it's impossible to put up a schedule. I'm working on getting some things done up so that I may be able to get BP Radio working again. I'm debating whether to make BP Radio 24/7 so stay tuned for that. DJs will randomly climb on as I've asked them to support whatever days they can for the time being. I will be jumping on from time to time. I know for sure, I will be DJing Friday night to help me get psyched up for paintball wars the next day. Hehe.

Sorry, radio isn't active at this time. I'm hoping MZ and Sumpf is jumping on randomly. I have plans to air a talk show with an interview with one of the subbers and possible an Anime News Talk show for everyone's pleasure. I'm working on how I can get this done so that it doesn't take much of my time and seeing what procedures I can place in. You are all welcome to post your suggestions and ideas as I would love to make BP Radio an even better radio station that just music. We did have talk show hosts for a while but they are not around anymore (unless I take BP Radio into my hands, meaning I provide all the services instead of using services of other's, ex. server.)

I hope to get this Talk Show done soon and I might do this talk show Saturday night.

Due to some problems that arose, I'm unable to host a talk show tonight. However, I will try and get some DJs to jump on when they can. I apologize for the inconvinience but am trying hard to get things up and running. I am also hoping for UnholyGodn to join us on BP Radio for his wacky and hilarious shows. If he does manage to come on, it will alleviate some of the stress I have to deal with.

I am in charge of the radio on Friday nights with a talk show and music at the same time. It's always fun since I get lots of feedback from people that come and go. I usually tally 23 listeners by the end of the night, and 54 by 3am my time.

I advise you use Winamp, although Windows Media Player probably works also. In winamp, click play->Play URL, then Copy and Paste in http://gotnull.net:8000/live.m3 :) It should buffer and play, provided a DJ is on.

I advise you use Winamp, although Windows Media Player probably works also. In winamp, click play->Play URL, then Copy and Paste in http://gotnull.net:8000/live.m3 :) It should buffer and play, provided a DJ is on.

so then i shouldn't be worried if it's not working? a DJ can't be on all the time so it makes sense. kinda sucks that i'm never at the computer when a DJ is on.

I'm currently working on getting some new Djs and such for the radio. I've been very busy for the last two weeks and I'm sorry for not putting 100% into the radio.

I'd like to let everyone know that we're looking for new Djs around the clock. I don't want a huge team, but I'd like to get a decent size team together so I could try to get atleast 1 - 2 Djs on a day if possible.

Just so you guys know, Kisu is mainly the only Dj on currently, and he doesn't go on until Friday nights unless he wants to do a special broadcast.

Other then him, I dont have contact information for the other Djs besides seeing them on IRC, so I have no idea what time they go on, nor do I know if they even go on.

After you downloaded it, install.
Start HydraIrc and press the "File" button (Uper left side)

Click on "New server" and fill in the following info:
URI: irc.chakranet.com

Press "ok" now.
Now you get a list of servers, click on "close". And typ: /join #bpradio

That should be it ;P

The above link has a file that you'll need to listen to BP Radio (If anyone is on). After putting the file somewhere, open it with a player (I pick WinAmp). If the radio is up, you'll connect and start hearing music ^_^

Alright, so the story from last night. As most of you have seen, we've changed radio servers AND IRC servers. Reason for this is because last night, while using alx's server (the one who runs the #bleachportal server and the radio server) decided to kick us off his server because UnholyGodn played a Rap song. "Wait what?" some of you might ask, but it's true.

But you know, UnholyGodn being as awesome as he is, gave us a new server to do the radio on.

So what's the scoop on the radio station currently? Well, since we moved to the BleachPortal server, UnholyGodn has had some people complaining that downloads were going much slower. UnholyGodn doesn't know for sure, but he thinks the radio station might be the cause. I've currently asked DJs to cool it down with doing shows randomly. I don't know if UnholyGodn and I could work this out, or if we'll find another server to run the radio on. For now, we'll wait and see what happens.
