A2K, in one of the threads on the help desk section, you said that the post count will not increase after you post in the Introduction section. That's fine, but several minutes ago, I posted there, and my post count went up. I just thought it was strange, and that one of the administrators might want to know. Maybe you just cahnaged the new rule or something.

Yes. But if you check out the "posts not going up" thread in this section, that's what A2K says. That's where I got the quote from. I just thought it was weird the post count was still going up in that section, so I made this thread to hopefully clarify this.

Yes...it is true, i just posted in Unholy's thread and it rose by one post.

Since I have long since tired of checking through to greet people when they come to the site; I do not post in the introduction section - therefore when I am told that it will become a 0 post count area, I take that to be the case, and would have no way of checking since I do not post in there.

Now if I am told it will become a 0 post count area, and it is not applied to that section after that point, then it is not my concern. That is for an Admin to decide whether it should or should not become a 0 post count section.

If your posts are going up by posting in the Introduction forum; then it has obviously been left enabled.
