Any KOTOR players?

So, does anyone here like KOTOR games. I think they are amazing, both of them. The first one had the best story I've seen in a long time.

By the way, if you played them, which side did you choose (dark, light) on your first playthrough? I chose dark, i outfitted my entire party in Dark Jedi Master robes a just to look badass. And the twin red lighsabers added to the awesomness.

I played KOTOR....great games. I am a HUGE SW fan so of course anything SW I must try or at least know about lol. On my first run through I went almost rather neutral....doing good and bad thing along the way. I had twin lightsabers, one blue and one purple. It was fun. :)

KOTOR 1 was an excellent game. KOTOR 2 was a good came but had a couple flaws, blah villains, and a terrible ending. It leaves you with a wtf reaction. If it it weren't for those things, then it would've been better than the first.

Ah, great games indeed, have em both, the first was fun, first time I just tried things out, second time I did it with almost all sidequests ect. third time I hit on Bastila :P, gets you a funny scene eventually. For 2 I was dissapointed you can't go neutral, well you 'can' but you won't get a prestige class, which was cool, I didn't like the lightsaber styles, only the force one seemed to make me any different, but with all the customization powers, weapons, party members, ect. Great game, broke my heart to fight Kreia, she was my favorite character T-T

Oh, and I played both dark and light sides on both games, decent either way, although I suppose I slightly prefer dark, you even get a free sith jumpsuit :P

yeah i love KOTOR thats my favorite rpg!!! i love anything and everything Star Wars i hope they make a third one but spend more time on it cuz KOTOR 2 was rushed and the ending sucked

K.O.T.O.R.!!!!!! i love both games! i loved the story for the second one best! especially if you're a Sith Lord...like myself. it's ****ing awesome! i've played K.O.T.O.R. 1 through about 5 times, and K.O.T.O.R. 2 about 3 times. god i love those games!!! if i ruled the world, K.O.T.O.R. 4 would be coming out in like a month or something! seriously. i'm gonna write a letter to Mr. Lucas himself, and demand that the series be revived damnit!


p.s. - the Light Side...is for pussies. true power can only be bred from pure anger and hatred.


p.p.s.s. - yeah, the ending of K.O.T.O.R. 2 was like...,"WTF?!?!". a big disappointment after playing through such a good storyline.

Actually in 2, if you get the max levels for all of the light side upgrade powers, then get force enlightenment (which uses them all simultaneously) and have twin/db lightsaber, you can apparently kill anything in 1 or 2 attacks.

Light side does suck. BTW, Lucas doesn't have anything to do with the actual games.

Yeah, I've played both and went Dark Side in both, but then my friends think I have psychological issues since they all like goody-goodies... Come to think of it I also went Way of the Closed Fist in Jade Empire and earned the dubious honour of achieving Humanity 2 in Vampire: Bloodlines... Yeah, I really do prefer evil, maybe I do have issues.

I played both parts.
and I was always good neutral (I don't like the bad people)
and abozut the WTF-ending in part 2. they are making a patch to handle that I think....

I played part one and it rocks!!
but I thought the ending was kinda weird when you are good...
when I ended the game I flyed out of the star forge and made contect with those jedi dudes. They sent some fighters to escort me and then the screen goes black...
Is that normal or is my CD crap? (I bought it second handed)

I played both, it realy doesn't matter how many times but I finished Kotor 1 exactly 20 times as for 2nd part only 4 times and have no intentions on playing more . Also on www.starwarsknights.com you can find some pretty good news meaby regarding to Kotor 3 ( 3rd person action-rpg is probably going to be produced since they are hiring) .
