Anyone trying to play hardcore? I'd like some tips on who the best characters might be (based on technical damage lists ect. *and not cool factor ;)*.

For $50 SC3 has provided heaps of enjoyment. :biggrinlo

YEA!!:doindadom some one finally made a thread on SC3 i personally bought it once came out! i love that game so much! i even own its great-great-great-grandfather Soul Edge on the ps1.the SC series are probably the best fighting series of all but i was disappointed that there wasnt any online play very disappointed since i would like to share my 1337, |*\^/|\|3[)63, ()\^/|\|3[)63 sk1||z:face82:
*NOTE*run can also be inputed by a quick tap FORWARD-FORWARD beside a hold an its quicker if your close to your opponent
but all praise a side there arnt any best character. all have the advantage an disadvantage. the main character i use to pwn those that dare challenge a king would have to be Zasalemel* great mid-short range person with extra quick damage.
Back+L2 which catches its opponents in the air an do extra damage is your best skill since there nothing your opponent can do once there in the air, it never fails unless your to slow. the best moves in launching your opponent in the air would be
forward 8-way-run+B= really fast attack, hits mid-long range, MID Attack
down or up 8+B = short-short but does really good damage,MID Attack
*forward run+B+B = my favorite, mid-long range, MID+low Attack perfect because its extremely hard to block an quick can also be inputed
forward run+B+K = harder to input but helps if your opponent cachets on, MID+MID attack, average damage
Zasalemel dosnt have neerly any long range attacks but the best one is
run OR forward 8+A, knocks opponent down capable, of knocking out ring, longest of all his attack, High attack, high damage. i suggest you switch between
forward 8+B, then catch him in the air
BACK+B = slow but long good for starting off, UNblockable if full Soul Charge
UNBLOCKABLE FULL Soul Charge
BACK+B=quickest,HIGH Attack,Long Range
BACK+A+K=very long range,very slow,High damage if hit by all 3 attacks,MID-MID-HIGH
RUN+B+K=slow but faster then above,low-long range, good damage,mid

I personally like ground combo-ing people with Mitsurugi. Cervantes has a similar air throw :D How far have you made it in World championship?

um, i don't know that that will actually happen since it's only released on ps2. But it might be released on Xbox, i'm not certain. :D

:headbang: yea i got around the same hours but my FFX got scratch so ive never finshed the game an deleted the data for some other game i think it was for MGS3

DArn I wish Namco released it on every format so I could bloody play it. I loved SC2 so much. I'm so disappointed that I can't play SC3. Bastard.
