I downloaded this anime at like episode 13 or something and stopped cause I felt kind of lost. So to give it an honest shot I started at episode 1. Just finished marathoning the series from 1-33. WOW!! With the exceptions of Samurai 7 and cowboy beebop I've never watched a series that has the potential of just continuing on for a much longer life span. Story is amazing, characters are deep and balance of giving you hard action and breathers of comedy is just about perfect. I hope to catch up with the episodes so I could contribute more to topices posted around these parts..

How is Gungrave? I played the game. Looked like an interesting story, didn't realize there was more. is it hand drawn or in the same cell shaded style like the game. Or did Gungrave exsist before the game?

I've watched Gungrave and im just going to say its one of my favorite anime series ever. Its so much more in depth then the games and the story is deep and sad. I think you'd enjoy it. As for one of the longest marathons i've done was while watchign Hikaru No Go, great anime, I think I watched nearly 1-30 in the first day. The series ends up being 52 with a movie and specials. OH, and Gundam Wing, I marathoned that for like 20 episodes.

gungrave is very nice im up to ep 25.. good story line, character development, great set out the way it starts in middle then goes back to beginning... very nicely done, up there with my favourites
