As you can see there is an adbanner on the top for hosting and I recamend them as a great host. They are very reliable and they are great when it comes to keeping your site protected. Over the course of time while we have used Dark Files as our hosting solution we have had great uptime and DDOS protection.

The staff who work there are great people and are always willing to help. Why spend less and get hosting that won't have good uptime? Spend a little more and buy superior hosting which you can trust! As webmaster of Bleach Portal and a client of there I strongly recamend you get hosting from Dark Files ^_^.

yeah, I've been with them for almost 2 years now (in march it will be two years)... I got the $3 plan that had up only for a little bit

Wich plan should I choose when I want 100mb space alot of bandwith and php/mysql support?

Depends how much you're willing to pay. I'm thinking the 2nd plan will fit your needs fine o.O;

DarkFiles is very nice, and they have great protection, but I hear the have alot of holes from various people who know about servers. They are just as good as media template.
BTW there is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth. Most servers can only support 2-3TB of transfer a month. Your bandwidth may be unmeterd, meaning to get to use bandwidth until the server turns off. But most host will only do that if you have a small amount of space.

hey, i've always wondered bout sites like that and hosting. I once had a site and needed a host but i was too lazy to actually go find one. I just wanna know if it's really worth it to pay for those host sites rather than find free hosting. How much better is it? is it really worth it?

Yes, never get free hosting froma free hosting site (my new site gets free hosted by a friend with his own server).
1 - Free sites will have pop-ups (propley won't tell you) and/or a stupid banner.
2 - You cannot have full control over your site.
3 - You will not have good features
4 - Support will most likley be not good...

also many times the free sites don't work, correctly, for example: the buttons may not work correctly, or some parts may be missing.
