I think one of the great things about Bleach is that each character has his own interesting side... haha... so I don't really hate anyone... Ichimaru Gin is evil but he surely is smart and cool... sometimes i don't like Orihime because she's a bit useless, and right now I don't like Momo Hinamori [Aizen's vice captain] because she's so gullible, she went against Hitsugaya although he tried so hard to protect her...:( Poor Hitsugaya.

Out of all the characters in the series, the one person I don't really like is Orihime. She's a nice girl, but I don't have any patience for those people who act like an airhead and ditsy when in fact they are not. The way she talks gets on my nerves too.

I completely agree. I haven't watched the anime, and have only read vols. 1-5 (since that's all I could get my hands on) and Orihime has always struck me as...erg, I can't even explain what I think of her! But I do like that Tite Kubo is so thorough with every one of the characters. (at least the ones that I have seen so far) They each have their own unique personality. Especially Ichigo and Rukia. I had never read a manga that had the "hero" as a grumpy 15-year-old. (He is fifteen, isn't he??) And Rukia can change her outward emotions so quickly, like when Orihime saw Ichigo and Rukia in the park during the (first?) volume, after Orihime had almost gotten run over by a car. Rukia was all serious, then curtsied to Orihime, and she went along with it....

Huuuuh..? I think Byakuaya is one of the coolest guys in Bleach! Definitely he has some reasons for his being "emotionless"... and actually I think he's just hiding his emotions, not that he doesn't have them!!! I think later on the brother-sister relationship between him and Rukia will be a very nice one... :)

Every important character has his or her own uniqueness to theirselves, so I don't dislike any of them. I think Orihime is great. So what if she is like a dumb blonde, I havn't seen many of those character types in any of the animes I have watched. I love how she eats the crazy foods she makes and acts like the food is good and normal. And seriously, would she be half as effective if she wasn't ditzy or didn't have that big chest of hers? It's all in the character build. The only people I dislike are the unimportant people who have no clue what's going on and have no uniqueness to them, but then again that's how they are suppose to be.

Well, everybody has their own opinions about something or someone, and I respect that. To me, Orihime isn't that great of a character. She's a nice person, but her huge chest is clearly for fanservice and her ditsy, airhead mannerism (spelling?) is for comedic purpose. I'm not saying she's useless b/c she's not. Afterall, she protected Ishida, Ichigo, Yourichi, & Chad during their entrance to soul soceity and she reattached that giant guy's arm. But, other than that, I don't see anything else about her that I like. Sorry.

I got nothing but love so far, at first the overall design of the Hollows just felt so simple, but as the story lead on so did the Hollows their abilities and characters. agreed. man, she must get serious back problems at the end of the day. i don't dislike orihime, she's ok. but whereas i don't really dislike her, i wouldn't go too far as to say i do like her all that much. you can't help but wonder how she's really going to handle herself when push comes to shove out there.

between orihime and tatsuki-chan i have always been a bigger fan of tatsuki myself. in the beginning i kinda wished if any of them would get assimilated into the group, it would be her instead of hime.

and, as for the other minor characters, i happen to really love asano keigo. he's a complete odd ball and he pulls it off. well, for me anyway. i kinda wish he'd show up more often.

I would have to say that my least favorite character is without a doubt Oomaeda Maresendai (vice-captain of the 2nd division). And while I realize that this response is exceptionally lame, I stand by my opinion. You only have to look once to realize that he is a nasty, nasty man, and his very presence makes me want to vomit. I fail to understand how a man of his demeanor became a shinigami, and a vice-captain at that. I simply cannot see how he would be ever be useful in any way (And I'm not simply talking about the general plot. Of course he's not important. But in the grand scheme of Soul Society, I mean.). I imagine that he's the type of person that Byakuya would destroy for the simple fact that he is an ignorant peasant without any sense of manners or dignity. He is a disgusting man and I wish that I had never sullied my eyes with him.

Well, it doesn't mean that she is not good, she is kind though but I just couldn't imagine if she is indeed ended up with Ichigo. Like I said before, her character doesn't match Ichigo and yet she still care to no one but Ichigo. I think their relationship will kinda boring, you know like if Ichigo scolding her, she'll definetely said gomen-nasai or worse case "crying". Bah, doesn't match Ichigo at all.

She should also notice for other too since she's already know that to Ichigo, Rukia is his important person and so is Rukia and to make it worse, she still kinda like try to break those two :angry: , I'm definetely angry with her b/c of that. Like in episode 18, heh in manga ch 58, she make me more angry, she is kinda discourage Ichigo or feel jealous of Rukia or something like that.

well, I must say that I do like sasuke and I hate naruto, like someone said, he rely to much on his kyubi and thanks to that, I always pissed of when seeing him beating up all genius ninjas like Gaara, Neji and sasuke (almost), and then all of them being inspired by him :eek13: I like Lee better though, at least he try to beat up Neji with his own strengh.

Plus when he learnt chidori sasuke raped the hell out of it every opportunity he had to use it he did even when it was inappropriate he fought better before he learnt chidori! (at least naruto learnt the rasengan a bit later on and didnt have enough opportunity to rinse it). There is no character i dislike in Naruto my least favourite is maybe Sakura even though she has improved alot
In bleach i never had a least favourite character but going on various bleach forums has made rukia go from being at the top as one of my favs to dropping mad far down cos of the rukia x ichigo thing I dunno it irritates me then i take it out on the character why cant a male and female be friends has nobody heard of the word platonic?

somehow...the way this whole topic is going reminds me way back of how people thought of Yanagi from Flame of Recca...most thought she was definetly an annoying piece of plot movement...but hey, good mangaka sometimes make that kind of character one of the MAIN main characters for many good reasons. in a way, its like following the themes and philosophy of manga like Bleach and Naruto...you see the point of certain characters after a good amount of realization...

I don't think she is, as far as I know from the manga up to ch 177 SPOILER she don't do anything important except crying, saying "Kurosaki-Kun" everyday, or being a burden even to Ishida b/c she can't fight and defence herself even though she has power :eek13:

I hate Hitsugaya, his constant use in fillers and almost no presence in the later arcs make him seem like hes just a base for all the filler content.

The one thing I really dislike though is the representation of the other karakura characters in the later arcs(mainly chad and ishida). I think they should develop them more in terms of power and appearances in the series. It seems like they develop a good amount of the captains and even one or two vice captains, but only focus on Ichigo (and maybe orihime too) as if they're the only humans that matter.
