Well, it's coming out Feb. 14 2006. I don't know about you all, but I liked the first one. Comments/Discussion?

The first one was alright but I didnt open the last chapter :( it was just so hard to get all swords or whatever it was but I might get the DG 2

I liked the first one, but I never got around to finishing it. I have to pick it up soon and play through it before I can play the second. The first one was really good though, but some of the missions took forever.

Yes. The first one was awesome, the only problem was the last ending. What sucks is that I don't have the money to get it. Crap. Anyway, yes, everything but the last alternate ending to Drakengard One made it an awesome Hack and Slash game.

i honestly just finished it not that long ago an it was an o.k. game. from what ive read the 5th ending is acquired

I dunno where I am in the game...I donno I hate flying as the dragon sometimes it's pretty hard when doing aerial combat.

Drakengard was amazing, I must confess. I got everything except the last ending. For those of you who have now played (and probably already beaten) Drakengard 2, is it best to completely finish DG 1 before you start the sequel?

By the way, and please forgive me if i sound extremely stupid or ignorant, but what company is making Drakengard two. And what system will it be released for. I looked it up and Squaresoft.com and it didn't say anything about it.

the first game that has tons to demolish when it comes to a war lol so many people to kill and it's crazy... hopefully 2 is just as good though because one was a blast and man was there a lot of emenys on the radar (red dots everywhere)

Actually, I just got it today. There are some differences, but it's still pretty good. I differs some from the first, but it's a cool game.

Drakengard II Review:

It has a nice plot going for it, but the fact of Caim no longer being the character seemed bad to me. I mean he had a lot going for him and was cool in my eyes. As for the gameplay, it's solid, no slow-downs or anything, but most people will just say "eh, it sucks, another hack-and-slash." I know it is that but once you play as the dragons and do their special moves it gets interesting. The new combo system was pretty neat to have. Some detailed looking visuals in the cinematics as well. The combos are pretty interesting to watch in my opinion. Well in short, good game, great depth, not too short, and solid gameplay.

My rating: 9/10. Definite Buy.

Yeah, the realtionship between Caim and Angelus was a bit more Dramaey, and angsty in this one. I didn't like that part too much..

Drakengard is basically a Hack and Slash type of game in which you go around killing random armies of people from something called, the Empire was the enemy I think, and fly a dragon in order to do it. It's got an awesome storyline and is pretty cool. You have to play it and the second one to really get good with the story line.
