Well, it has just now come to my attention that a topic had information I should share. I just now found out that Sega is making 4 new games for the dreamcast. Maybe people will join in and make some, too?

Hmmm...*looks around to where he buried his Dreamcast*
I don't know about this rumor, I think it might just be a rumor and not fact. I doubt that they would make games for that system when newer ones (Xbox360 and PS3) are the new generation of gaming.

Well, all I know is I'd love for them to bring it back. Stuff like Last Blade/Soul Calibur/Sonic easily made it worthwhile but all people care about is MADDENLOLZ!!!1.

well if you look at the system specs it can keep up with nintendos revolution so its not really dead and sega is getting some support since ppl are getting pissed off with xbox 360 always crashing and the ps3 blue ray tech is so high its too risky to make a game that blows and dosnt sell well. So ppl are looking to sega as a very high tech system with great graphics and cheap to make games on. yeah i saw the article in this months game pro. It reads that its actually 12 games this year coming out for it 4 games in spring summer fal winter.

i hope that they will come out with some real good games to bring back the fans that once supported dreamcast. dreamcast's graphics is one of the best i've seen and no other consoles could beat it when it first came out in terms of graphics

WOW four more games for the DC? Why though? Most of the DC's either died (meaning broke), most accesories are too hard to find, or pratically no one knows that there's going to be more games. Also don't forget the newer systems have way more titles.

DC is dead. whta you heard was one of those rampant internet rumors. Sega said they will not be making any new systems, or games for existing ones, they wont be chanign this now.
And noone will make games for the DC, as it has such a small consumer base, it would be suicide.

The only thing the Dreamcast even had going for it was the online connection. The graphics were on par with the ps1 yet the system cost a ton more. I will say however that the Dreamcast had and still has alot better games then the X-Box or X-Box 360...At least Sega knew how to get good game titles.

Not necessarily, because almost everyone I know has their Dreamcast with them still. :P

Dont get me wrong, I love my dreamcast, but Sega released it at a bad time with a bad battle plan. Hell they couldn't even GIVE the systems away.

dreamcast had some incredible games and even more so genius game designers. an incredibly amount of gaming masterpieces can be found on the system. from soul calibur to shenmue. it's a shame that it was released so poorly.

...shenmue...
man, does that bring back memories...i remember how that game was supposed to be this series of games that would keep going and going...dreamcast was proof that no matter how many brilliant minds you've got working on a project, all it takes are a couple clowns at the very top to bring everything crumbling to the ground...

Are you guys serious? This may mark the revival of Dreamcast. If that's the case I'm going to get a new one, since somethings wrong with my current Dreamcast. For some reason in the middle of playing games it'll just go back to the System Menu screen for no reason at all, I don't understand it. I loved my Dreamcast, it had awesome games. I swear I haven't seen a Gundam game even come close to comparing to Gundam 0029: Ashes to Ashes. Or a fighting game come close to Soul Calibar or Mavel VS Capcom 2. Or an addicting arcade game like Crazy Taxi. Or a decent shooter game where you use the actual gun controller come close to being as good as House of the Dead 2. And of coarse the awesomeness of Sonic Adventure will always be a classic in my eyes.

House of the Dead 2, oh yeah that brings back memory, especially the special stage where you must shoot zombies off the cars

Dreamcast isn't dead in Asia, in fact it is still quite popular. As for the Americas and Europe and all, it's dead. There's your truth =P Sorry

Omg I agree. They made 1 for X-Box and they remade Jet Grind Radio for GBA. But I would love another one, as well.

It's seems foolish but I'll hold my thumbs. I love DC, probably one of the best consoles.
