During this Episode Ukitake decides to close the gates to Soul Society because of an unidentified Transmission that is made in Soul Society.

I have no idea about the story of the manga, but I guess it would be good to warn the people of possible SPOILER's in this thread...

Anime watchers, as long as they've seen 67 can keep reading!

What do you think about this Unidentified Message???
Do we have another traitor in Sou Society, after Ichimaru, Aizen and Tousen have gone......

I discussed that stuff with some friends...I'd trust Mayuri at least, cause he seems to be a very weird guy.... others think that matsumoto has relations to gin ichimaru....

I dunno....

...only persons I completely trust are Yamamoto, Ukitake, Shunsui, Unohanna Retsu, Hitsugaya, and Kenpachi....

I have an idea of what the transmission is, and It would tie in with the current manga arc perfectly. However, since this thread is for pure speculation then I'll just say it might have something to do with Aizen and what he's doing in Heuco Mundo.

what is "heuco mundo" ???
does it have to do with that "true haven" stuff???
is it the "dimension" where aizen went to?

Its the dimension that looks like a desolate wasteland, its very dark and you see it several times when that one hollow is talking in the background about how hollows must fill this voidless realm and keep feeding on souls. It looks like a very grim place and is home to the hollows. Its also the place where Orihimes brothers spirit is taken and then possessed. Heuco Mundo is also a translation of "hollow world."

thx!

hmmm. I'd like to know more about your theory....
do you think there's somekind of spy working for aizen in soul society?
I don't need to know who,...just if you think there's one?

As of now I really dont think that there is a spy working for Aizen..I can tell you though that he is doing some sort of experimenting, but to reveal anything further than that would be spoiling the manga.

thx for the idea sharing!
...
I know where I have to stop my cusiosity....

however, a bit of topic change would do good here!

the experimental part:
how do you think about the relationship between aizen and urahara?
I mean aizen seems to be the number 2 scientist behind genius urahara...
he'd like to top urahara, but in my eyes dind't manage it until now.

when i saw the filler's for the first time, i thought those three mod souls are connected to aizen cause they were also working with hallucinations...

when they turned out to be a bit more childish and to be mod souls, it was clear that they've nothing to do with aizen.

by the way... didi you see that when the menos grandes saved aizen, ichimaru and tousen from soul society that there were 13 menos grandes (like the 13 captains?)

Would you mind posting a time point and which sub group you are using cause I don't see it in the DB one during Ukitake's speech just after the break.

the whole unindentified transmission came out of nowhere for me. it had almost no relation to any of the episode and i'm kind of wondering what soi fong and yoruichi were doing. maybe all of these silly questions and ideas will be solved when the next one comes out.

Hmm... A bit off the topic 1st... I don't think Aizen is No.2 Mad Scientist... and also altho Mayuri seems untrustworthy, I dont think he would betray SS so easily... I reckon theres a person in SS working for Aizen jst now... or Aizen is trying somethng weird like his new hollows or smethng and that sends off signal to SS... Remember every single time a hollow appear in the real world, SS is notified, since this is a new type of hollow, it is not recog...

I dont wont to say this but i belive it is kenpachi he is always looking to grow more powerful maybe aizen promised him the unlimited power of a vizard if he would spy.
Either that or mayuri he just seems too weird but i bet he ends up saving ichigo at some point.

Chances are everything was closed down so just in case there were spies, they couldn't tell Aizen, while Soi fong was free to assist Yoruichi.

Hmm... interesting... But I think Kenpachi has a different ideas after fighting Ichigo, he is even willing to find out his Zanpakutou's name! Yeah, ok... I ll think more about it...

Yeah, they really didn't touch base on anything about the transmission. They just pretty much mentioned it. I wonder what it was about. It may have something to do with Aizen but I doubt there's a spy in Soul Society. We'll just have to see what happens in 68-69 to learn more about the transmission.

Soi Fong didn't escape. She was ordered by Yoruichi to get there before the gate closed. She even says that, while running through it. I have no idea what those two are up to, but it's something. And we may take in account that Urahara was also missing, but then again he does that at times so it may be nothing at all.

I sincerely doubt that Kenpachi would ever betray soul society. He adds flavor to bleach and I just cant see him ever becoming the bad guy. Sure he has a lust for power, but I doubt that his personality would ever allow him to stoop down to the evil side just to gain more power. Although one could argue that Kenpachi is evil in his own way, because of his bloody past, but its clear to see that he's beligerrent and not evil.

To anyone who has seen this "unidentified translation" thing, what sub group are you looking at? And is it in the part where Ukitake orders the gate closed?

so since 68-69 the mystery of the transmission seems also to be solved...

Yeah, it's what Ukitake was talking about. They mention it very briefly in the episode. It probably is in all the sub groups because it seems pretty important. But the one I watched was DB. (I hope Lunar catches up quick)

No, Ukitake doesn't say anything about a transmission from 11:51 - 12:10 (The scene just after the break) in the DB sub.

It's at the very end during the Shinigami Cup Golden. It's at 24:12-24:19 when Ukitake is talking to Hitsugaya.
