Pretty sure they aren't going to the manga at all and just using fillers, the only reason Bleach7 said they were blending in the manga was because 70's title, but if you saw the preview for it you'll see it doesnt have anything to do with the manga. I hope Kubo finds a way to go DBZ style and drag out the battle scenes to make time for manga, that'd be a whole lot better than fillers.

I think the filler eps are decent, even thought the animation is totally crap.. The Soul Society arc was a gazillion times more exciting though... Not a manga reader, so I don't know what we're missing out on... That makes it more bearable I think...

And why don't you people just burn the eps on DVD's.. That's what I do... I stash em on my HDD and when they get up to 4,3 GB I just burn em on a DVD... Have about 13 animé's stashed in that way allready.. :P And still counting!

Never in a million years would I encourage any show to stretch a battle scene out the way DBZ did...but in this case, you're absolutely right...

Since I never expected the fillers to end so soon, my hopes haven't really been shattered...A month or so is no where near enough time for the manga to gain any real separation from the anime...I'd expect the fillers to continue probably until the end of the television year (don't know exactly when that would be for Japanese broadcast TV)...

I dont really mind the filler even if it lasts for 20 more episodes. That way the anime wont immediately catch up to the manga and cause so many problems. I'd rather have a huge segment of filler rather than the story shifting from the canon storyline to filler in between.

Bleach is slowly declining. Causing me to get rid of a lot of it. But I still have faith in Bleach. If we can get through this hopefully small filler phase AND if Kubo ends the Manga somehow. Bleach will be able to go down as a good Anime. If not, prepare for Naruto Strikes Back.

What's troubling is that the fillers don't HAVE to be bad. They could in fact be a rather good, separate-from-the-manga, arc. But now... urgh, I'd hate for it to go down the Naruto path. Naruto was good up to like the end of the Chuunin exams, then it was all downhill from there.

See, I kinda like the current "filler" arc. It has its own unique characters, plot, and it keeps my interest. Exactly like a filler should. I think that those who keep saying things like, "I hate the filler arc", or "When will the filler arc end?" are too distracted by the manga to appreciate the story the "filler" brings in. No offense guys...

I was considering reading all the Manga, but I think I've decided not to do that. I'll read only up to the point that the anime is at, but no further. That way, I'll be able to better appreciate the twists and suprises. I think that this will make Bleach more intersting for me in the long run...

Regardless of wether Bleach has 5 eps of filler or 50, I will DL and watch every single one. I suppose that I'm that much of a collector...lol This way, I have the entire series, not just my favorites.

Don't take me wrong - the only two things I really disliked in those fillers was the crappy animation and the fact that they messed with the Bankai.

The only thing I really hated in the filler was how they messed up shunsui in the one hour special. He's supposed to be this pacifist who doesnt like to fight and hitsugaya just comes into the room and hes like "you wanna fight?" I dont know, I was just bothered by that because its something Shunsui wouldnt say usually.

I really have to say i hate the filler arc. Besides the fact that the animation is very bad, it just really lacks the great style that Bleach has, instead they are just very lame (the characters are all out of character, getting in lame fights with eachother to eat up time(IchigoxRenji) and they just continue to make lame excuses in the storyline to buy up episodes. For example, Aizen not being able to use Hougyouku for a year, Ichigo not being able to use bankai so he should "just forget about it...until the fillers end Ichigo!" And bringing back Rukia really might take out the impact that her return has on the manga arc, unless they find a way to really butter it up like ie: Rukia saying that she can never come back to the real world, then does again when the fillers end-something like that could work and stop the anime from being ruined.

Each episode is basically Ichigo and Renji have a really cliche idiotic fight, then they all run around for 15 minutes, then they discover some minor plot twist that is supposed to be stunning, but it is really just so cliche, predictable and really just boring.

The people working on the filler arc really should have just watched the first 15 episodes of Bleach and tried to remake what Kubo did there, that would be perfect for filler episodes. That's just how much i really dont like these episodes, i know there has to be fillers but they dont have to be so horrible, these fillers are like a whole new anime that isnt Bleach.

Wow, when you put it that way. Everything you say seems true, except the last statement. It'll still be Bleach. The whole concept of bounds aren't toooo horrible. A lot of the stuff is predictable, I'll say that much. The fact that their are 3 new mod-souls in stuffed animals piss me off. I do admit some of the Ichigo and Renji fights are completely out of character and dumb. But they always did fight a lot, so you really can't get rid of that aspect. And well you don't want Ichigo just using his bankai in every episode do you? Cause Ichigo has the personality to do something like that and it would take away from the meaning and beauty of using bankai.

Most animes have filler plots if you haven't noticed. And the only reason Dragonball Z never had a filler arc was because they dragged everything sooooooooo long. A single fight took up nearly 25 episodes.

well, thats a one sided statement. Dragonball Z's manga didnt not have much dialogue so it was simple for the anime to drag out battles. And the battles were dragged out to such a outrageous proportion it wasnt even funny anymore, I mean, when an episode consists of cell and gohan exchanging 2 or 3 lines, then a "AHHHHHHHHHHHH" and then a kameheha wave is not as good as a filler with its own story.

And when it was revealed Ishida lost his Quincy powers, the group wasn't as surprised as I expected them to be. And it didn't seem like he was too upset about it either. It's like he could compensate with just using his wits and brains to solve problems. It's so unlike Ishida because being a QUINCY is HIS WHOLE PRIDE! You know what I mean? This is all wrong.

There are so much more I can rant about. The appearance of Rukia, for example. They're in the middle of this Bound thing, and she was sent to the real world to exterminate hollows!??!

I think it would be best if the animators really started fixing up some stuff in the fillers so that it can transition into the manga arc smoothly. They've screwed up a lot of things but its all fixable, it just depends on how deep they want to go into the fillers and how much they want to screw it up.
