Why's it look weird?

I just watched episodes 68-69, dont worry no spoilers, but why did the characters look different? They looked like the animators didnt put much effort into drawin them. Anyone else notice that?

Yea, its a filler, so you cant expect the same quality as the normal episodes. Animators got lazy i guess

Well, that's typical. Animation usually DOES move down a notch after a while (for long-running series).

Like in Naruto. :P If you compare the first episodes, and the latest episodes, you can see the difference. It gets too expensive, I guess (especially for fillers. Maybe they don't want to waste money?).

Its like on the second ep into the fillers whwen there running around if you did a step by step on it you relises the animation was rubbish they were just moving them fowards

I agree... I think the anime team feel it's unnecessary to spend that much time when it comes to fillers.

Even when the quality sucks we can still use our **imaginations** j/k like on the ep when i got to see Byak look like a fat uncle...imagine that as long as they make rukia and ichigo and a few select others including byak looks decent its fine...but once the scenery goes and the main chars get pwned thats a sign that the animes about outa money.

Most of the time, it's because they pay more money for experienced and skilled animators to work on the important episodes. So when it comes to the less important episodes they can save some money by having the quality of the drawings lower then usual.

Yeah, what a pity .. >I weren't happy when I saw the characters in that way .. =(, but can't help that's fillers .. But I actually don't care about it, filler episodes are good ! I enjoy it like the other episodes anyways
