I completely agree and I actually expected something of that sort to happen, yet was so disappointed when Yourichi ended up in cat-form and didn't immediately change back to commence making out with Soi-Fong :'(.

Yeah I never even noticed they like talked about the next episode at the very end, until I started hearing more about the golden. However, I just jump through the credits right to golden so it passes the part about the next episode anyways.
