I need a good free hosting for my web site. I need at least 50mb+, 1gig+, supports php & MySQL, and FTP. I tried hostultra and its not good and don't say just goto google and see what's out there. I need some experience you had with the free host your suggesting and is it good or not or you hear that this site offers good free hosting.

www.cjb.net is an awesome one (you do have to be able to write html mind you) but you can have your "own" domain name ie. www.(name here).cjb.net

There is only one free host that dominates over others and makes other free hosts pale in comparison. Sadly, it does not support PHP, and mySQL. Other than that, it's flawless. No forced ads, no limited file size uploads like all those other hosts. Well....if you just wanna check it out go to http://www.sitesled.com

Dunno if this matches all of things you said, but:

what i use is http://www.brinkster.com
It supports ASP, XML, and Access DBs though. No PHP. There are limitations when you use the free version (choose educational version).. you get a banner ad at the top of the screen. You get about 15mb of data and 500mb of web traffic. For a few bucks a month u can get rid of the ad plus extra features. Pretty reliable for a small site. If you're looking for something bigger though...
