K, I just got this version of the Bleach DVD: Bleach DVD (http://cgi.ebay.com/Bleach-TV-Series-Part-1-DVD-Box-Set_W0QQitemZ9106309117QQcategoryZ617QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) Problem is, I almost got sick after the first ep and the subs. Rukia is now Lukia, Zabimaru is now Jyabinaru, Ganju is now Shibaganjyu, and there are a lot of misspelled words and words that need spaces between them. To sum it up, an extreamly bad sub. Im gonna try and return this DVD to the store I got it from, but the question I have is, I see a lot of other versions of the Bleach DVD on ebay, are the dubs on all of them like this? Or is this just a really bad brand? I want to get Bleach on DVD to free up my hard drive, but if all the subs are as bad as this one, I just wont buy a DVD and get rid of Bleach (though I dont want to =/)

Yeah, I get DVDs from there too, but what I want to know is if the other versions of the Bleach DVD have the same sub or if there diffrent. For example, theres the vol.1 DVD in my first post, theres this one: DVD 2 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Bleach-Part-1-Complete-TV-Series-3-DVD-BoxSet-English_W0QQitemZ9104787586QQcategoryZ617QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) and also this one: DVD 3 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Bleach-TV-Part-1-Anime-DVD-Box-Set-eps-1-24-New_W0QQitemZ9106661241QQcategoryZ617QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) and last but not least this one: DVD 4 (http://cgi.ebay.com/BLEACH-PART-1-ANIME-3-DVD-BOXSET-EPS-1-24-NIB_W0QQitemZ9102995394QQcategoryZ617QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) There all Bleach Vol. 1 episode 1-24. If there all the same sub, I just wont get the DVD at all.

I'm pretty sure a lot of those anime DVDs from discountanimedvd and other places that have subtitles (that haven’t been licensed yet) are done by some place in Hong Kong. Those aren't official dvds, they are pirated, that's why they have English and Chinese subtitles. But I'm not sure about this, I just know I read it somewhere about the Tenchi Muyo GXP DVDs that were subtitled before it was bought by funimation. They said it was some place in Hong Kong that does it, and probably mass produces it there as well. So most likely any Bleach DVD with subtitles are going to be those crappy ones.

I can get a whole season of Bleach on one DVD, and as long as I have my "special" xbox, I can watch them all on the TV. :)

I have a pretty old G3 Mac that wouldnt DL an episode of anything without me holding a gun to the monitor, so I got my dvds off ebay. I dont like supporting that so much, but I really wanted to check this out. The subs are flawless, but thats because they are just burns of all the eps you guy DL off P2P.

If you work for a place where the IT guys are kinda messed up in the head or you own the company, you can place them on a namespace in your own intranet.
