how come when you buy a HDD you never get the full space out of it, cause I just bought a 250 gig and all I got out of it was 233!!!:angry:

It shows on the bar like that, I do not think it only happens to you or me.

I forgot why but all hard drive are like that. The hard drive in ipods are the same. Something about.. 1024kb = one mb. Therefore when you convert it, its different. Hmm someone correct me if I'm wrong, im not that pc saavvy :P

My hdd is the same, i only have a 80gig hdd, windows xp alone takes up 2 gigs i think, im not sure.

Yeah what tammy said. HD makers just go by 1gb = 1000mb when marketing, but your BIOs and windows goes by 1024mb.
