GAH Spyware!

Someone tell me how to get rid of this crap I got on my desktop. :( Its some really annoying desktop icons named like "Bingo" "Casino Online" "Poker" "Card Games".

When I try to delete them I CANT! And I cant MOVE THEM! GAH

Yep but u need Spybot Search & Destroy to, because Ad-Aware doesn't find all the adware/spyware/keyloggers/trojans/tracing cookies etc. etc.

So here's what u gotta do

1. Download Ad-Ware
2. Download Spybot Search & Destroy
(http://www.safer-networking.org/nl/mirrors/index.html)
3. Run Ad-Aware, Check for updates; download & install the updates.
4. Run Spybot Search & Destroy, Check for updates; download & install the updates.
5. Run both programs at the same time and delete al the resulting shit.

thats all good BUT you forgot to add-in ONE PROGRAM!
need spywareblaster to protect you from other spyware from downloading from your computer. spywareblaster and spybot work pretty well together so i'd also recommend getting those 2 program plus this

but yah those programs should do the trick...saves you from having to go through the registry editor yourself

yup
spybot s&d, spyware blaster, mozilla firefox. all good programs
when u use the sbybot s&d, make sure to immunize. that's important.
do u have a pop-up blocker by chance?

The thing is ad-ware sees Search and Destory as a kind of Spybot and won't run with it. I know this because I used to have them both.

U kno, all of us had all these techy things to say and mg just put a little and bleh...... -_-

they simplest answer is always the best, but spybot really is a god send, ad aware isnt bad either, spybot was consumer reports number one choice for spyware removal

lol i can do the techy stuff too...but if i find a simple solution, then that's what i go for :)
