I have an older brother and that's it. He's 16 but still a huge pain. All he does is stay in his room hours on end blasting his electric guitar. My friends are surprised on how long he stays in there. O _ o Since I'm all the computer all day I must bug him alot. When he wants to go on his music nerd forums I'm always on... he has to go on late at night when I'm sleeping. XP Since I'm about to go to bed he's probably going to get on... and yes, right now we only have one computer that has internet and that's a real problem. *sigh* Oh. Another thing about him is that all he talks about is music... SERIOUSY. And then he keeps saying how he's better then all these people... so annoying... well, yeah... at least I only have 1 sibling. I have 2 older brothers and 2 older sisters. My age gap with my first older sister and my 2 older brothers is too huge, so we barely have a relationship (I'm 15 and my sister is almost 30). My other older sister is practically my only older sibling since she's only a year older than me. Most of the time I can't stand her and everything she says is contradictory, annoying, illogical, stuck-up, and unpleasant. She acts like a total child who's love sick with freedom. She totally disregards and takes for granted the love my parents offer her!

Whatever we all have our own issues but for some reason, when I try to imagine it, it's very hard to get accustomed to a life without her existence. She has impacted me just as much as my parents and there were (rare) times when she supported me and I supported her.

^ Hmm. As for maturity in my family, I can't really say who it is. It's most likely my brother. He's head of different groups in his school, doesn't drink (well, only until a certain extent, to my knowledge)...

I personally don't think my elder sister is the most mature in my family. She bludges college due to stress sometimes, and drinks and parties quite often (from what I hear). But she seems to be doing quite fine living on her own - still, I honestly don't think she is the most mature one.

Siblings who are extremely close (age wise) tend to try to subconsciously differentiate from each other. My proof is my sister and I. I'm a year younger than my sister and ever since we were little girls we dressed alike and enjoyed similar interests. However, when puberty invaded, I slowly changed interests and began hating my sister. Maybe it just sucked being compared to each other, it's something that just happened.

However one must remember, the only similarities siblings share are genes. Otherwise, we are our own people =P.

I haven't seen my half sister Mitzi since I was very little, and I miss her to death. I never met my half brother Ronulfito, and I would like to meet him at least once. Both half-siblings stayed behind in Costa Rica when my Dad divorced his first wife.

I could do without my other full-blood siblings, but I can't deny the fact that my big sister Daniela taught me to read when i was 5 and took care of me in elementary school, as well as in high school the two years we were in band together.

Eeeh...I use to be an only child until fifth grade and went into foster care. Being a single child isn't all that, i mean, it gets lonely at times. There are some good sides to being the only child though, such as getting more things to yourself, and you won't have to worry about getting in fights constantly with others in your house hold, which is a downside to having siblings. But you don't get as lonely when you have others around you, so it's not all that bad having siblings. I miss being the only child, but i love my sisters and brothers.

He's lived at my house before and I've lived at his. So I get to be around him most of the time and then get to go home to my own space every night, it's nice.
