is it just me or was arimaki (maki-maki or mr "thin moustache" from 11th squad/division) voice the same as vice principal uchiyamada's voice in GTO? i swear its the same voice actor

also, i think everyone's noticed this, but the animation has gotten REALLY bad in the latest episodes, especially the shading... it's like a kid did it...

... maybe i shouldn't have started a thread just for this... oh well :rolleye09

yeah im not sure about maki maki but i own the GTO box set and it rocks to da max, its a true classic along with Neon Genesis. Yeah i have noticed that some of the animating is quite dodgy, especially on chad he was referred to looking like on of the EVAs hes too thin in these latest ones.

Well, I dunno about Makimaki... but yeah, the Animation has gotten really bad. Especilly Chad, he really did look like Eva-03, now he looks like an over-grown stick... :rolleye:

now that i've got people's attention, i'll probably be flamed for this but do you know if aizen's complete hypnosis is his shikai or bankai? he never says anything to release it, which might make me think it was a shikai (which does not require anything to be said if bankai is achieved). i'm not sure, but isane says something about it when they're in the 46 after hitsugaya just got laid out, that he "showed it" to them before (not sure if she said bankai)

someone clear this up for me.

I won't flame (you n00b! ;) ), and this is his Shikai. It's his Shikai, he said the release phrase once (It's "Crumble, Kyouka Suigetsu") when he encountered Unohana (somewhere near episode 60, 57 or so. Can't remember).

i agree... i was thinking Gin's bankai would be similar to shooting, but that it can expand, bend, twist, etc.... i think that would be fitting since it could be used defensively to protect himself...

then again, he shot through hitsugaya's shikai (or did he?) in that fight they had...

oh yeah, are there a lot of people in the 3rd div? i'll probably be joining that one (150 seems so damn far away!!) haha

Gin's Shikai can bend and twist - it's like a really sharp whip.

it is? i thought for sure that i would reconise uchiyamada's voice(that squeking is unforgetable). but than again, it wasnt the actor's normal voice.

Lol,how does it start from Maki Maki and that character from GTO (Sowwee,I havent watched it) having the same voice actor ,as well as bad graphics to different people's zanpakutou all in 12 posts? XD Hilarious bunch. Anywho, Keepin in short,wouldnt know if thats the same person, agrees that the graphics seem sort of rushed to get done, and reckons that Ash Cat didnt become more powerful because its Matsumoto's own sword and other people cannot change it. As well as since she said "If I can't carry it,then I just wont" or something like that to Kira, it means that by changing the sword into shikai form, Kira's sword would not have any effect on ash cat's capabilities.

Yes, the animation is bad. That's probably because it's fillers and they don't have the motivation to do them well.
