I sometime see that first work in nightmares, coz I and my friends had to carry wet brics inside a hause in the middle of the winter for 6 houres every weekend for a month. I changed 5 or 6 pairs of gloves becouse they just were destroyed from lifting those brics. After that I just couldnt move, I just fell on my bed and turned off.

First jobs are typically quite bad, because you're too young or inexperienced to get a really great job.
My first job was a summer job working in a meat factory overnight, hauling defrosting pig parts out of a vat of icy, bloody water. It was exhausting!

Amazingly, I've never had a true job before. I mean, I've worked with my dad and grandpa in their business before, but I don't count that, because that was only for 3 or 4 days, and it's family....more of a favor than a job...
I tend to concentrate more on my studies and other interests (coughbleachcough) instead of working in a supermarket or something...I manage to get by, and I make good grades too...it works out...

my first job was babysitting, but my first actual w-2 form job was as a counselor at a summer camp.
my first job sucked pretty bad,
I worked as in a supermarket and I had to fill the milk and stuff...
But I suck at that stuff I had to work insanely long to get everythiing done..
but on the other hand, I didn't get a training or anything. I was just put there and it was like: here's your stuff, fill it.

My first job was as a clerk for my uncles fishing shop while he was in the hospital for 1 1/2 weeks. I made good money and help promote the store alot by making it some ads on the google and such. It was kinda fun but it was boring just sitting there selling lures and bait. The store smelled bad though. :/ But it was a allright job for a first. I was about 11 3/4 when i toke this job. :) Yeah it was a fairly easy job too. XD

My first and current job is at a local office where I sit at the desk, answer the door, sort the mail, and answer the phone. I only work on weekends, and it can be very boring especially if you don't have music with you. But it's easy pay and I'm allowed to do homework at the desk during the schol year. The only downside is that I can't leave the office and go buy food a block away.

my first job was a courtesy clerk at the local Sobeys. (a supermarket mainly in Canada, lol) It had great shift hours, and we got to have paid break time (15 minutes) every 4 hours, which was more than enough... i assure you. Sadly, I had to quit the job due to my studies, and the fact that they never once offered a promotion or a raise for the entire time I worked there... oh well.

my first job was on a farm, feeding calves milking cows. It was seriously hard work, i had to drive a tractor, i dont even know how to drive, so i crashed it in the slurry pit, then i had to go strimming on a steep bank and i accidently cut a bird in half with it, then shredded the electric fence! But i found herding the cows the hardest part, they just kept pooing on me:( so i just had to slap em hard on the backside to get them to move anywhere!!

My first job was at the movie theaters. I hated it so very much. I worked in the rich neighborhood so that gave all the customers the right to treat all us employees like crap. It was hell too, we had to run all over the place, cleaning theaters in under five minutes and then get complained at about the high prices. Then they didn't promote me, so I quit. Jerks! It was for the best, I like where I'm at now.:musak:

My 1st job. It happened when I was 16. It was bad. I worked in a pizza restaurant near at my place. At that time, I was paid $5 CAD per hour (imagine that). Then my boss and his collegues, they are not so friendly people. Then one night, I checked my boss' money records and I realized that he corrupted the money a lot. Well, the pizza restaurant didn't last (for half a month)...Before that, I didn't showed up to my work anymore. It was suck. I just knew that this place would be a total failure. The reasons:
1.) The place wasn't pretty.
2.) My boss didn't accept the good suggestions given by the customers.
3.) He paid less money for his employees.
4.) My boss was a jerk. He didn't knew how to handle his business properly.
So, when I heard that this pizza restaurant was closed. I was very happy...and I felt relieved too. :)

My first job was a courtesy clerk in a super market.
My first real job was being kind of an assistant secretary for local music institute. It was mostly typing up and answering the phone, but I also got to make posters and help arrange entrance exams.

My first "job" was babysitting. It was the easiest thing in the world. I watched a little girl who was almost mature enough to take care of herself. We'd just watch movies or go for walks. :D

I still have my 1st job, I'm a vet-tech (not officially) at a vetrinary clinic. I mainly help out in surgeries, clean everything, restrain doggies and cats, and I'm the tech dude. I do a little of all of that, but don't specialize in one.
My first job was at a museum. I had to enter data from the guest book. So, when you write your name in one, please right it out clearly and not put some messy signature that is impossible to read.

My first job was at some insurance company, I entered stuff into a computer for 9$$ an hour, and listened to my ipod the whole time I worked, I also had very flexible hours :D
the people I worked with always played games and pranks... for example one time I came in early (during the summer) and I had a empty bowl and a small box of cereal (one of those single meal cereal boxes, like 1 use type things) so I figured meh, lifted it and the whole bottom was cut out and it was filled with bb's... they spilt EVERYWHERE lol I had to clean everything up :o
they pulled tons of other pranks on me but meh 2 lazy to type them :D was an awesome job though

Kidding - soccer referee, pretty enjoyable work.
Paper route. Got it when I was twelve, quit at eightteen. I was getting tired of some issues with the management, and I was making a lot more at the part time job I'd gotten at Burger King at when I was 16.
Edit: Oh yeah, mowing our lawn (I was paid by our landlord). I had forgotten but I guess that started about the same time as the paper route.

My first real job was when I was 14 working full time after school at the local A&W as a car hop and back then it was required that we had to wear roller skates.lol it was one of the funnest jobs I ever had, not to mention cool to be making my own money.
My first job was picking strawberrys one summer, and i hated it.
My back hurt, you had to stand in the sun while walking and picking.
Check for bugs.
And it was lousy pay...
Never doing that ever again, I'll buy my strawberries..
My first real job, was at a newspaper distributor, I had piles of the damn newspaper and I had to put all the ads that go inside.

Lol, i was an assitant manager in a museum. My mum being the manager managed to get me the job, well paid take a break when you want, and spent most the time bossing people around...
: P
Great job, tho it was a temp contract (last guy quit early) and only lasted 3 months whilst they found the next person...
Also looks great on CV...
Besides babysitting, my first job (which I am still tied to) was/is working as a cashier at Target. Surprisingly, it was really fun for the first couple of months...until Christmas came and it got really monotonous. Retail has its ups and down and I'm very thankful I'm not working at Wal-Mart..

Landscaping, any not mowing lawns, moving literally tons and tons of dirt and bricks each day. NEVER AGAIN, though I did get pretty jacked in doing so.
Now I work at a pizza place, answering the phone, working the register, whatever needs doing. Holy shit do some of the people on the phone piss me off though, they poll 10 people on what they want after calling, order things that aren't on the menu, call while driving through tunnels, and so on. 9.50/hour only 9 hours a week, a lazy job good for steady income.

when I was about 10 my dad owned a card/comic book shop and I would be an assistant after school. Was cool since he paid me everyday. Then when I was about 12 I worked as an assistant janitor at the local elementary school during the summer. Getting buzzed from the fumes of the cleaners, paints, and worst of all...cleaning out the lockers and scraping bubble gum from under the desks.

It was at a costume shop, and a kid came in and told his mum "Hey! I want the mask she has on! Its REALLY scary"
