Without refering to the manga i have to say the recent fight scenes have been a little less than brilliant. I remember back in the glorious days where Ichigo fought Zaraki-kenpachi and stuff. The Ishida fight scene was good and dat was it. After that things went down hill i think. The renji fight scene ended quickly, and dont get me started on the tediousness of the kuchiki v Ichigo fight scene. Has any1 else noticed the steadily decreasing quality of fight scenes?

maybe up untill the fillers began, but from the beginning till ichigo fought byakuya it was all very sweet.

I don't agree. First of all I didn't like at all the Ichigo vs. Zarchi kempachi Fight. The only part I liked about it was the way they showed the Raijustu supressing ichigo to the point he was scared. ANyways, the fight scenes are great. I loved Renji s. Byakuya fight for the new cotsume and the release of Bankai, but the fight was supposed to be a landslide because of the gap of experiance. Ichigo vs. Byakuya was necessariry to demonstrate the growth of Ichigo, I thought it was a little urreal of Ichigo's power, but I didn't complain too much.

My 2 cents.

I will admit bleach has a problem when it comes to the choreography of their fights. Some just include a few slashes, a power up, and suddenly a final faceoff that declares the victor. There are some good fights however, and when the manga arc is animated, I imagine that there will be a lot more satisfying fight scenes.

I thought a lot of the fight scenes were pretty great actually, minus the ones that were way too short to be called fight scenes (i.e. Yumichika vs. Hisagi, Matsumoto vs. Kira, Yamamoto vs. Ukitake and Shunsui, etc.) As for the filler episodes, they're not the best, but they're not that bad either.

if u expect every fight scene to last for 5 min. then there won't be any renewals in important fights like when Ichigo will ultimately fight aizen, that fight needs new tactics and coming up with fight coreography is very hard.

Well, how can you have good fights against vampires? They dont even have swords.
In conclusion, vampires suck.
And in the quality of the fights, eh.... i think the fight scenes are fine up until the filler. Some people are just overdemanding :P

Well, I think that the quality of the current bleach fillers surpasses any other anime's filler's fights, we should be glad that we have bleach, alos we have only seen two fights with the vamps so nothing on how the fight goes well or not is yet decided, but overall, the fight scenes have surely dropped a bit.

some people are used to good quality imo.

The fillers are just wrong wrong wrong, and after that the fights will be even cooler and more wicked. (i read the manga xD)

That is quite true cause if the filler fight scenes came at the beginning before SS the fans would have been like "OH, amazing vamps!" cause when you are in heaven for too long, hell seems a lot shittier than before...

Be sure, that will change after the fillers.

the fight scenes in the fillers aren't that good... in fact i dont really like em. lol they're nothing compared to the sweet real action...

Seriously, the vamps are a good concept, and we haven't even seen the boss vamp in action. Plus, despite the fact that they don't have swords, doesn't meant he vamps can't fight on their own. The girls seems pretty quick and agile, so she could probably do some hand-to-hand.

I suggest that once the animators get back on track with the current manga that they dont rush as much. Maybe 1.5 manga chapters animated per week, that way the fight scenes are guaranteed to be awesome, and the manga will stay further away from the anime and prevent future fillers.

yes hopefully they will get better soon

lol not that i dont like the vamps rite now... but the fight scenes aren't as "exciting" as the ones in Soul Society or the ones to come in the manga...

I think the case is that they have a different producer, so the drawing and things are different... btw... its worse than before... they cant make character runs...

Yeah....I kinda hate the fight scenes now....they're not as spectacular as they used to be (well, what would you expect from a filler anyway...) and Ichigo's kinda wimpy...he was bad-ass with his bankai before....and now....LOL....he's like any other ordinary shinigami...

i just watched episode 71 and i have to say, THE FIGHTS SUCK!, the way the characters move are very stiff and when they stop they seem like they are still moving and not in rest position, also the sword slashing has went down the sewers. I noticed also that the animation and the drawing of the characters have also suffered a serious setback, Chad has silky smooth hair for crying out loud!

The Manga seems to keep having its usual fighting glory due to the steadiness of the drawer, also its story is more logical thhan the anime (concentrating on the main enemy, aizen, rather than some Vampires...) so if anyone still longs for the fight quality of bleach, you will find it within the manga.

Right... So is it worth starting to read the manga???

Frankly speaking, the fight scenes are dull and, sometimes, lacking in action-coordination. What makes it somewhat "good" is that they'd applied modern schemes and practices in making animations. Yet this did not compensate for a good fight. They should have made more frames, and "naturality" in every movement.

Sometimes, I thought, the almost-impeccable characters ARE NOT AND SHOULD NOT BE designated in such 'cheap' animation.

Still, I like Bleach; especially Soi Fong.

The fight scenes from SS were amazing... I really liked the one between Ichigo and Byakuya...

I can only wait to see more of those amazing fight scene... and I hope it will be soon...

Fillers are "special" episodes added to the flow of the story. As in the case of Bleach, the filler had started at... hmm... let's say, 64 up-to 71+. That's Bleach's filler. A filler has no, if not partial, connection with the main story. As in the case of Bleach (again), the filler is not in the manga. In the manga, the story continued with the invasion of Arrancars--hollows turned to shinigamis--developed by Aizen. In the animation, they added those of the story of Bountos...

Try searching Bleach in Wikipedia. Bountos (or Bounds) are only added in the animation. But, also, it would effective if you should see it directly by seeing the manga itself. :)
