this episode was okay... the animation was a little bit crappy but still okay. Seems like we will learn more about Ishidas mother (which looks a lot like toshino -> the bound women)and Kons fart joke for Ichigo was very funny. :LOL: I´m waiting for the subbed episode to understand more

I dont usually download from Hell Fansubs but i remember seeing the last episode released Tuesday night. Do they always release their subs that early?

I hardly ever download from Hell Fansubs, but I do know that they have released 71 already in mkv form. I'm not sure if the date they release on is consistant or not.

I got the RAW, and the episode doesn't look too bad. I read the summary/review over at Random Curiosity, and by the looks of it, the episode should be tolerable. When skimming the RAW, I noticed a scene between Mayuri and Shinsui :D I can't wait to see that part subbed..Mayuri looks pretty pissed off.

Haha @ the Shinigami Cup at the end. Kenpachi trying to get the bell on his top..er..spike? That made me giggle..

I love Hell-Fansubs... They beat the crap out of DB when it comes to speedsubbing but get so underappreciated because of DB loyalty and a lot of people's lack of knowledge about .MKV.

It's a multiplatform player that will pretty much play anything you throw at it. To get the subs while an .mkv is playing, just right click and go to Subtitle Track>English.

Well, this episode had it's good points and it's bad points. You could REALLY tell the first half of this episode was a filler. The developments felt slow, the dialogue felt meaningless, and...

Looks like the animators took a few pot breaks.

But, around the midpoint of this episode, things started to kick in, starting with the hilariously unexpected Kon moment. The animation picked up, a little character development occured, some new enemies seem to be on the way. Not a bad episode.

Long story short: Ishida gets molested by Bounts, Ichigo farts on Inoue, and the Bount might accidentally break the universe.

I really think the studio needs to have better control over drug management, you know the animators are sneaking a few in every once in a while. With the overall episode, it was alright. Really the only thing I get out of it is comic relief; I don’t really like the bount story line. I’m sort of thinking of it as I’m not really watching Bleach but watching a show that features the Bleach characters. That way I won’t have it set at such a high standard to match. Kenpachi with the bells though at the end was awesome, really you have to wonder how the hell he does that, I just asume Yachiru helped him out.

I really liked this filler episode. One of favorite parts was what Shunsui said about Mayuri under his breath. I think that the Bountou's plan is quite bad. I also like how for some reason Ishida might be important to stopping the plan. I liked getting to see a bit of Ishida's mother too. I know that these are just the fillers but I rather think that this story has taken on a rather nice turn.

Boy, I loved it when Mayuri was pissed. I wonder if Shunshi changed his password. Serves that ugly clown right.

So, that Bounto woman, is she not bad after all? And the other two bounto men, what are their real ambitions anyway?

i just read the summary for this ep [which i found here http://randomc.animeblogger.net/2006/03/07/bleach-71/ ], from wat i have read it seems much better then the last ep and focuses more on uryuu which is pretty good too... i sorta guessed that the bound woman wasnt a good badguy and i agree with RukiaYuza, for filler eps this ep has become much more interesting

why did they show the bound woman and ishida's mother's flashback? what kind of comparison are they trying to draw? this is getting interesting, even the manga has given no info about Ishida's mother.

OMFG! After a weekbreak this is sooo much CRAP!
Extremely low animation quality. A lot of holes in the story like when you hit one side of ishidas head into the ground than the other side starts to bleed.
Omfg that was just pathetic.

Besides the horrible animemation, the fillers aare taking a turn for the better. I can now see the fillers getting more interesting in the future. The whole seriousness and then the sudden fart was good. I chuckled, was really i wasn't really expecting it. Are they allowed to do this to Ishida's mom who hasn't even been introduced in the manga yet?

The first half was drawn horribly, it looked as bad as some naruto filler artwork. The second half was better... but I still want this filler to end, I was hoping they were just going to finish out the season with it (episode 78) but it's hard to tell now. With any luck episode 79 will get back on track but from what I heard (I haven't read the manga past SS saga) they screwed up the main plot already pretty bad with Rukia's return and Ishida telling everyone his powers are gone.

I hope the anime doesn't completely go off track from the manga like some do. I have a vague idea of what's supposed to happen and it's alot better then this stuff. It's my favorite manga next to maybe Gantz. On a good note the Shinigami Cup Golden was funny. I guess no one knows when these fillers end huh -.-;

the fillers have a good story? who thought that out.
It will probably end up with some huge fight, the friido guy gets owned by ichigo or someone, than the jin guy will own everyone but the girl bounto will sacrifice herself to weaken the main guy, than ichigo regains bankai and owns him. Tada.
I probably missed some twists but the main thing will be probably this...

I just liked the episode for the sole reason of what Shunsui muttered under his breath to Mayuri. "your going to hell someday" that had me cracking up..Overall animation did suck, but I'm glad that the bountou are being developed more, story wise. It was a mediocre episode at best, but I was expecting it..

I think I'm the only one here not hating on the filler episodes. I understand that they're necessary--the manga needs time to get ahead of the anime. Whining isn't going to change anything, so I suggest everyone just buckle down and enjoy the Ishida-centric plot. And for everyone who hates Ishida... well go watch Naruto or something.

I generally dont think these fillers are bad (at LEAST they dont have Don Kanonji in them) but I really disliked this episode. Although I did enjoy the Shinigami Cup at the end :D

I think that these fillers are generally alright. Sure this episode wasn't the best, but it is providing us with a background on the bounto, and supplying plenty of character developement. The fights will come later when the manga arc gets animated, so it's best just to bide our time and tolerate these episodes as much as we can. They arent as bad as they seem, and at the worst one could say that they are just plain boring. But, you have to give merits to how much effort was put into the filler story, even though the animation is lacking..

Thats probably as a result from her constant training. It's only natural that she would learn new moves as she trains harder to be worthy in Ichigo's eyes.

No, that attack isn't new. Her fairies give her the ability to perform a healing spell, and defense spell(the shield) and an attacking spell(the one used this episode.) The attack is done by a single fairy called Tsubaki. Her healing spell requires two fairies and her defense spell requires three. Something about the Tsubaki attack is that she is not able to use it at its full lethal force it requires a will to fight and Orihime doesn't have it in her to fight and do harm.

Actually I think this filler episode was quite entertaining compared to the previous ones. I realized that the animators seemed to be half asleep while doing their job but that aside, that "quincy is the key person" thing is making watching the fillers a little more interesting compared to the horrid ones where Ichigo was chasing Rin Rin and Co. Perhaps we will see something amusing from these fillers after all ^^.
Now here's the question that I have in mind... Ishida said he's the only Quincy since he doesn't know that his father can use his quincy skills. But could they really mess up the anime by declaring that Ishida's father is the 'key'?

I was surprised by this episode. It actually entertained me unlike the garbage they've been playing the last couple months. The Bound's dolls are pretty cool and the fight with the snakes was surprisingly fun to watch. They're kind of like zanpakuto spirits except that they appear in their true form instead of as a sword. The next episode looks like it will be all action, so this up trend should continue.

This filler was pretty good...

I love seeing Rukia draw again.. it's so funny. The Kon prank caught me off guard... it was funny as hell. The scene between Shunsui and Mayuri made me chuckle. Sado also had a funny moment when he checked Ishida's feet.

I'm certainly interested to see if Yoshino (female Bound) is really evil or good. Jin said that she won't betray him... who knows? Maybe she can be using Ishida to gain his Ichigo's trust and then backstab him. Her comment about the Quincy is very interesting.

It may just be me, but this filler arc seems to be drawing a lot of plot points from Yu Yu Hakusho. First that whole "test with bad guys who turn out to be good" thingy, and now this threat about a tunnel to another dimension. Seems just like the Demon Door Saga. These fillers are decent, but I would've liked it if they did things like Shinigami Cup Golden, except for entire episodes. Those could've been funny.

There are a lot of comparisons that can be made between Yu Yu Hakusho and Bleach. In fact, bleach almost wasnt published because it was too similar to YYH. It's natural that some aspects of bleach are similar to it..

I am enjoying the Quincy importance, considering Ishida's one of my favorites. Still, I wish there had been a bigger impact on Ichigo when Rukia showed up. The lack of romance in this anime is beginning to get to me. XD

Well the reaction that Ichigo had is just one more thing that the filler screwed up. They shouldnt have introduced Rukia yet, they should have just had Urahara save Ichigo instead. And theres not supposed to be a lot of romance in bleach, it is a shounen after all.

Am I the only one that thinks Mayuri could be the main villain of this arc?

Let's see...

-Mayuri has data on the Bound, but won't give them to others.
-Shunsui says "You're going to hell some day" which could indicate the future plot of the arc.
-Ishida beat Mayuri AND he is being attacked by the Bound. Revenge?
-Mayuri has not appeared in the manga since the end of the SS arc (I hope that doesn't count as a spoiler). Maybe Kubo left him out so he can be killed/arrested/punished in the fillers.

Only a few thoughts of course.

Those are good points, but Mayuri will be used in the manga by KT. Unless they get his permission to let Mayuri die in this saga, and never let him be used in the manga again....

Was it just me or did the fight at the beginning just not have the same emotional drive, the same tension, the same level of cool as the other fights in bleach has> I mean, i was actually bored during a fight scene
