I was just wondering if anybody could tell me if Ishida ever gets back his powers. Its pretty annoying that he gets those cool Quincy powers and then loses them.

Wasn't sure if that belonged in a spoiler, but did it just in case.

No, as of now Ishida does not have his quincy powers back. However, currently in the manga, he is being trained by his father to regain his quincy powers.

Ishida assumedhis father gave up his powers, but he had them a long, andnow he is offering to return Ishida's powers inexchange for a rpice. And that is to never associate with a shinigami ever again.

yes, but the thing is Ichigo is a vaizard, so Ishida can associate himself with Ichigo since he technically isnt a shinigami..I think that was Kubo's intention, though.

Okay, thanks guys. It just bugged me that Ishida lost his powers so easily. I just hope they end these fillers quickly before they do something else stupid (like how they allowed Rukia to come back already).

I doubt that the filler will really screw with anything else thats supposed to happen in the manga. They are already messed it up quite a lot but its still all fixable, depending on which point they start the current manga arc once it gets animated.

Dude I SERIOUSLY doubt that difference will be made. Ichigo is still a shinigami either way, and Ishida can't associate with him. I'm guessing Ishida will either have to never speak with Ichigo, or disobey his father and then have some crazy father/son battle. Which would rock. lol
I'm also a fan of the idea of a Ichigo/Isshin fight. (Didn't want to spoil this bit for him if he didn't know...)

Ishida and Ichigo will be rivals, im just saying that Ichigo isnt a 100 percent shinigami and that Ishida could use this fact to make an excuse if his father says "why were you associating with the shinigami?" This fact may or may not be looked over so we'll just have to see..Of course the most likely scenario is that Ishida is like vegeta and always wants to fight ichigo constantly to prove that he's superior.

nah! i think ishida will battle against ichigo and ichigo will ask the reason... ishida will tell him and ichigo will say sth like "idiot! whos says im a shinigami, im a vaizard now!" lol

That could be... And that would mean that Ishida can go with the Vaizards and Inoue and Chad because they aren't Shinigami, technically.
